21.01.2022 It has now been over 10 weeks since we closed the doors for the second time in what has been a crazy year. During the lockdown we took the opportunity to renovate our Pro Shop and what started out as replacing the old carpet quickly turned into a redesign and refit. The finished result is something we are very proud of and consider our new Golf shop one of the best in Melbourne. As with many projects at our club, we sought the help from members and as always when approached,... members where more than willing to help. A big thank you to Rob Barrett for his electrical work, John Smart and his crew for taking care of the painting, Stan Russell for building our new fitting green, Rod Harvey and Craig McBride from Lecky’s for providing guidance on what lighting to use and supplying the products, Graeme Cuff from Cuff Building for removing some unwanted plumbing, Kane Whiston for his sticky tape removal service and Dennis Oates for dropping us off skips whenever we needed them. The last person we really need to thank is Luke Bleuminks father and RGC member Ron, who gave up weeks of his time to come into the shop and put together all of the componentry including our custom built island counter. 13.01.2022 It was international #thankasuper day this week and we wanted to send a shoutout to our main man Dean Bailey and his team who do a fantastic job keeping us all playing on a great conditioned course all year round. Nothing is too hard for Dean and his team and any of our long term members can attest to the great work Dean has done with our course over the years. #thankasuperaus #howgoodisgolf

10.01.2022 COURSE UPDATE Plenty has been happening over the last week or so here at the Club, with Dean and his team working hard. On the 12th hole, we used the cores generated from surrounds & fairways to establish grass on the 12th carry. Some unwanted vegetation has been cleared from the right hand side of the 8th green. The 16th is looking great after the removal of the poplar trees. We can’t wait until you can all see it in person! ... #workinghard #seeyousoon

We also thought this might be a good time to think of a name - we’ve heard many amongst members!
