25.01.2022 Fire pit is roaring - no wind tonight and the glass of red is marvellous.

22.01.2022 The Lodge on Hawthorn is open - can't wait to get back to Blackall and visit this establishment

19.01.2022 Oleander House Blackall. The house was built around 1910 (not sure of the exact date) by Dalgety and Co. It was then owned by Mary and Ben Douglas, Chris Bonner, Peter Nichols, John Morgan and now Ros Parminter. My aim is to renovate the house as time and money permits and to maintain its history and character. I hope people enjoy staying in the house as well as exploring or revisiting Blackall and its surrounds.

18.01.2022 Another window finished for Oleander House - Jabirus. I'm just waiting for the glue to dry (go clear) and roll on August so I can take it to Blackall.

10.01.2022 So many interesting birds around Blackall

08.01.2022 I’ve been busy framing pictures for Oleander House walls. Most are by my very talented brother in law Tony Kiernan. There’s one here you might like Boyd and Chris - Banksia roserae print by Celia Rosser. She has painted the whole banksia species. All the frames are op shop finds in keeping with my reuse recycle philosophy.
