25.01.2022 Say hello to our Rosebery Cottage Feathered Family Lavender and Diamante bring us Fresh eggs every day. To retrieve the eggs the children need to work as a team. Task 1: It is somebody's job to distract the chickens Task 2: How do we distract the chickens? ( we use freshly grown vegetables and grass from our own garden)... Task 3: Somebody feeds the chickens on the opposite side of the chicken run whilst another person opens the door quickly and closes it quickly so the chickens cannot escape. Task 4: Retrieving the eggs task 5: getting back out of the chicken run gate without the chickens escaping. Development: Throughout all of this, the children involved have to use a high level of teamwork, communication, problem-solving, negotiation and physical skills.

23.01.2022 This week the toddlers and baby's have been very busy becoming sun safe superstars With it it becoming hotter now as it getting closer to summer it is very important that we learn how to.... #slip #slop #slap #shade We have our very own beach that we have been using to learn the rules of all the safety signs at the beach .. did you know how important it is to swim between the flags??? ... Our beach has sparked many conversations and new learning opportunities Did you know if your shadow is smaller than you you need too put on sunscreen???? The baby room have also been busy bees colouring and painting suns and hats This promotes our sun safe rules in our garden dont forget to put your sun screen on this weekend Have a lovely weekend from all of us here at Rosebery Cottage
