20.01.2022 We as a community would like to invite you to an afternoon tea for adults and children to show our appreciation to Wendy from the Something Wonderful Club for all that she has done for the Rosebery Community and for the love and smiles she has brought into our children's lives. The afternoon tea will be held THIS FRIDAY the 25th of January at the Something Wonderful Club from 3:00pm in the main street. If you could bring a small plate of food to share it would be very much appreciated. Offers of help to Hannah at the Rosebery IGA. Wendy does not know about the afternoon tea and we would like to keep it as a surprise so if you could quietly spread the word that would be lovely.

12.01.2022 The Rosebery Health and Hydrotherapy Centre (RHHC), thanks to the West Coast Council, is now insured; members, prospective members and interested residents can ...visit the facility in the happy knowledge that Rosebery Health and Hydrotherapy Association Inc. (RHHA) will not be out of pocket should any visitor recklessly jump in the pool, for example, swallow a pollywog, and catch a nasty infection. The RHHC will, as soon as possible, install spas (including swim-spas) and saunas as well as providing rooms for therapists and masseurs. The Centre will increase its range of services and facilities, as funds become available, and has plans to add pools of various sizes, suitable for both hydrotherapy and recreational use. In order to fund the Centre’s development the RHHA’s executives are busily applying for grants and other sources of funding; they will beg, borrow and steel themselves to approach any organisation, if necessary, on sore knees with honeyed words and tearful eyes. Rosebery Health and Hydrotherapy Association Inc., as an incorporated not-for-profit association, will reinvest any profits from operating the RHHC in expanding the range and quality of the Centre’s services. The committee of the RHHA has several vacancies and new members would be most welcome. The next meeting of Rosebery Health and Hydrotherapy Association Inc. is scheduled for 5:00pm, 15 March, at the Rosebery Health and Hydrotherapy Centre, 6 Park Road, Rosebery.

01.01.2022 Please take the Rosebery Health and Hydrotherapy Centre survey. Your feedback is important! https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/7GML2N7z The survey is also available at roseberydevelopmentassociation.org/survey. PLease encourage friends, relations, in-laws, the bloke who walks past the gate and mumbles to the dog on Fridays, your neighbours, and anyone else who might be interested in converting the pool site into a viable, community asset, to complete the survey.... For further information on our plan to convert the unsustainable Rosebery Swimming Pool into a centre for health and relaxation, and hydrotherapy, please go to: roseberydevelopmentassociation.org/survey. What is published there is not a proper, detailed business plan full of feasibility studies, nor even a draft business plan, but notes to help the professional writers of the business plan which will then be submitted to the the West Coast Council.
