25.01.2022 The Committee have advised that roll ups will be permitted from Tuesday next. To participate you must book a rink by ringing 59500835 from Monday between 9.30 and 10.30am - do not leave a message, wait to speak to someone. Same conditions apply as before, sanitise mats and jacks, clubhouse not open - only toilets, and social distancing applies. Also byo water. Enjoy and keep safe and well.

18.01.2022 Great to be back for bowls at RCC. Around 40 bowlers attended yesterday for a little social game. 20 ends on a couple of immaculate greens. Thanks grounds keepers!!

12.01.2022 The results are in for the Midweek Pennant and it is very pleasing to note that Division 2a Open and Division 3 Restricted are runners-up in their sections, and Division 1 Restricted finished third. This is a very good result for our three teams and the selectors would like to express their gratitude for the co-operation we received throughout the season. It is very good to report that, in our first year in Midweek Open, our Division 2a team has been awarded promotion to Division 1 next Season. What a great result - well played gals and guys.

12.01.2022 We have had a great couple of days of Winter Bowls. How good to be back with all our friends on the greens, though we got a little damp today. It will be all complete when we can share a drink and a chat afterwards. Come along and join us - two sessions on each Thursday and Friday, 11am and 1pm.

09.01.2022 Our Committee have advised the following information re social bowling to comply with Government restrictions. Commencing on Thursday 4th June, there will be two games each Thursday and Saturday starting at 11am and 1pm. The games will be three bowl pairs of 12 ends, club selected. We are allowed a maximum of 20 players which means 5 rinks of four players, so that two sessions will cater for 40 players each day. The cost will be $5 per game to cover green maintenance, a...nd bookings are required - please ring 59500835 between 9.30 and 10.15am each day except for Sunday and Monday. Our thanks to Robert White and Pam Constantine who will run Thursday’s and Jeff Sigvertsen and Julie Simpson who will run Saturday’s. While you are at the club, when the rules allow, please put your name on the pennant list for next season so that the selectors are able to make informed decisions re the number of teams to enter in 2020/21. 08.01.2022 Congrats to all our Saturday Pennant teams. Saturday Div 4 "Premiers". You could say we had our grand final when we beat Flinders at Flinders in the last home and away to retain top spot. It was a great season. Village Glen were bottom after round 12! We were to play them in the Grand Final. (Yes, I just checked those facts before posting). What a close even comp Div 4 Sth was in 19/20 season. Enjoyed every minute.. Well done Team!
