24.01.2022 How we will be operating during Stage 4 COVID-19 restrictions. - There are no restrictions on bringing your pet to a veterinary clinic even if the veterinary clinic is not within a 5km radius of your home. Seeking veterinary care is considered ‘health and care’ and is exempt from curfew hours and although our appointments are all within curfew hours, you may still go to an emergency veterinary clinic outside curfew hours if necessary. - Rosebud Pet Vet will continue to tre...at your pets as we have been doing under Stage 3 restrictions, where a nurse will take your pet from you and after examination the vet will phone you to discuss treatment and then dispense any medication as needed. - Make sure you bring your mobile phone with you to the consultation so the vet can speak to you. You will also receive a confirmation of your veterinary appointment via SMS which can be used to avoid delays if questioned by enforcement officers whilst traveling. - Please phone us beforehand to re-order medications or prescription food that can be prepared ahead of collection and can then be given to you outside of the clinic. Payment can also be made by credit card over the phone when ordering. - Please do not attend the clinic if you are confirmed positive with COVID-19, or are awaiting test results for COVID-19, or have symptoms of COVID-19, or are a close contact of anyone confirmed or suspected of having COVID-19. If this is the case, then phone to discuss your needs and we can arrange something to help you. See more

21.01.2022 An update on our services during COVID-19 restrictions. We have now been assured by the government that veterinary consultations for any reason, including those that are preventative, are permitted. This means that we are able to see your pet for any reason that you are concerned about. Please note that we still have restrictions on entry to the clinic as before. We hope to be able to resume having limited numbers of clients inside again when we move to the next stage (step 3) of restrictions. Thank you all for your understanding and support as we have worked hard to maintain our services to your pets during these challenging times.

21.01.2022 COVID-19: Our clinic is open, however we do ask that all clients who are currently sick, in contact with someone who is known to be sick or have recently traveled overseas discuss this with reception before making any appointment bookings. All other clients will be asked to remain in their car and to phone the clinic on arrival for further instructions. This is for the health and safety of everyone. Thank you all for your understanding and co-operation throughout this time.

15.01.2022 Some information for all our clients. Where possible, please phone or email us if you need to come in. This will allow us to obtain the product you require (food, medication) and have it ready for you to collect - which will reduce your waiting time at reception. As many of you know, we do not hold huge stocks of food, so it could save you an unnecessary trip! We will be restocking regularly. If you are coming in with an animal, we will ask you to wait outside or in your car ...- just let us know you are there and we will come and find you. If you are unwell or concerned about coming to the clinic, but your animal needs attention, we can manage this - you just need to let us know. We are here for you, but we won't be able to help if we get sick - please help us to stay well so we can help your animals.

08.01.2022 This is Eclipse. Every day she leaves her house, by herself, and takes the bus downtown to the dog park where she spends a couple of hours getting exercise and ...making friends, and then she takes the bus back home again. She even has her own bus pass attached to the collar. It started when her owner, Jeff Young, was taking too long when the bus arrived, so she impatiently ran ahead and got on the bus by herself. The bus driver recognized her and dropped her off at the dog park, and later Jeff caught up with her. After several more trips by herself, Jeff started letting her go on her own, and she always comes back home a couple of hours later. All of the bus drivers know her and she makes them smile, and many of the regular passengers enjoy seeing her every day and will often sit down next to her. Even the police have given their approval as long as the bus drivers are okay with the arrangement. "She makes everybody happy."

06.01.2022 As from Thursday 29th October, we are welcoming people back into our clinic. We need to restrict the number of people to comply with the government recommendations on density so please only bring one person per animal. Please wear a mask and sanitise hands on entry (we are all getting good at that now!) and please don't come in if you are unwell or self isolating. A nurse will assist with handling your pet during the consultation with the vet, but you will be able to have a face-to-face conversation with the vet again. If you prefer, you don't need to enter the clinic at all for your appointment, we are happy to bring your pet in and you can have a consultation over the phone with the vet. Let's hope that the easing of restrictions continues and we all stay healthy.

03.01.2022 Due to the latest increased COVID-19 restrictions in VIctoria, we will be going back to operating with increased safety measures again. As from tomorrow, we ask that you either come to the door with your pet and ring the bell and wait for a staff member to assist you, or you may phone us from your car. A nurse will take your pet inside for the examination and the vet will then phone you to discuss treatment. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding as we all try to keep each other safe and well.
