19.01.2022 Just a quick update for Victorian Sheds: As most of you would be aware, Lockdown restrictions are being eased for REGIONAL Victoria tomorrow. We are awaiting f...ormal advice from the Dept. Of Health as to the status of Men's Sheds operating in Regional areas, which we hope to receive today. Once we receive that advice we will send out a bulletin via our mailing list. Metro Melbourne Sheds must remain closed. Regional sheds, please stay closed until we send out the updated Health Dept. advice. 09.01.2022 Rosedale Mens Shed was recently communicated to by the amazing team from Wellington Op Shop and Food bank, Sale, with a great fundraising opportunity. Well Covid foiled our plans! But the very clever and persistent Laurel created further opportunity that saw a combined effort of fundraising, resulting in the Centre donating a $1000 cheque to us! Wow! And the raffle (as part of this) was drawn and winners contacted. Congratulations to all, thanks for the support and applause for Wellington Op Shop Thank you Robert Kincaid for representing our Shed.

08.01.2022 Just in case you thought nothing in 2020 had remained the same, here is your first reminder that some things haven't changed. Daylight saving starts in Victoria... at 2am next Sunday morning, the 4th of October. So, before you go to bed next Saturday night, remember to put your clocks FORWARD by 1 hour. It is also a timely reminder of the message from our mates at the CFA, to change the batteries in your smoke alarms as well. So there it is for another year, next Saturday night, before you go to bed, change the batteries in your smoke alarm and move your clocks forward by 1 hour.
