10.01.2022 **COVID UPDATE** Dear parents/guardians, The Victorian Government today announced new directions to prevent the spread of the COVID-19.... As a result, in line with the directions issued from Victoria’s Chief Health Officer, all Victorian schools will move to a period of remote and flexible provision from Monday 15 February to Wednesday 17 February inclusive. Schools will continue to provide on-site supervision for students in the following categories: Children whose parents are considered essential workers as listed, cannot work from home and where no other supervision arrangements can be made Vulnerable children, including children in out-of-home care, children deemed by Child Protection and/or Family Services to be at risk of harm and children identified by the school as vulnerable (including via referral from a family violence agency, homelessness or youth justice service or mental health or other health service). If you fall into one of these categories as listed and have no other alternate arrangements you will need to email the school account [email protected] and request an on-site supervision enrolment form. This will need to be returned before Monday morning to enable staff supervision. School staff are not to be at school unless required to support the on-site supervision program and will work from home for this period. All students at school today, given the short notice, have received a small learning pack from their classroom teacher to get them through the next three days. It is very disappointing to have to do this after such a wonderful normal start to the year. Stay safe and we can't wait to see everyone back at RPS on Thursday. Best wishes, Fiona

06.01.2022 A reminder to families that our colour run will be held this Thursday, November 5. Due to the rogue magpies on the oval we are going to hold it along the front of the school which will also allow parents to spectate along the fence if they wish. We strongly recommend that children not only wear an appropriate shirt but also old shoes if possible because they will certainly get wet. The colour run will begin at 2:45 and children will be dismissed from this event.
