15.01.2022 Thank you to the Russell from the Rosedale Chamber of Commerce who has organised this GoFundMe page. We are trying to raise funds for a new support vehicle to replace our ageing 16 year old brigade owned vehicle that we have had since 2003 which is fastly becoming inadequate and out dated for the brigades growing needs and roles and is in desperate need of replacing, Currently the vehicle serves the community by servicing fire equipment for local businesses, Transports member...s to and from training courses where members gain specialized skills in aid to better protect the community as well as operational duties and regularly attends incidents and emergencys where it carries additional equipment and crew. A modern vehicle (Ford Ranger) will also be safer for our members to drive with modern safety features and driving aids. The Brigade has applied for grants to upgrade our ageing brigade owned support vehicle for the last 3 years and has been unsuccessful on each attempt, The vehicle being brigade owned means its up to the brigade to raise the funds for a replacement and we have raised $40000 over the last few years and we are still quite a ways short of our goal of raising $80000. Thank you to all those who have donate so far. See more

08.01.2022 Rosedale Fire Station sign vandalised!! . Its disappointing to find out tonight (14/3/20) that our sign at the front of the fire station has been destroyed by vandals, A large rock has been thrown at the sign which will now have to be replaced. A few members who were cleaning the station ready for a training course tomorrow (which looks fantastic) only to find out about the sign. It has been reported to the police and we would like to remind everyone that if you see someone or something suspicious please report it to the brigade so we can forward it to the Rosedale police station. Surveillance for the fire station will be underway now.

02.01.2022 FIRE CALL: Burnoff During FDP
01.01.2022 The Chief Officer (CFA) has released some important information regarding the Corona virus and how it will affect brigades within the CFA, as a result our brigade has suspended all non essential activities until further notice, this includes; weekly brigade training, monthly brigade meetings and all community events. In the case of emergency callouts, its business as usual at the brigade and we will continue to turnout to all emergencys as required and meet the CFAs mission of maintaining our operational capability and protecting lives and property.
01.01.2022 On this day 75 years ago, CFA began as the single firefighting authority for country Victoria. Throughout the years, many aspects of our organisation have chang...ed, from our vehicles and clothing to the roles our crews undertake within communities. But our mission has always remained the same: protecting lives and property.
01.01.2022 At 5:40 pm tonight, the Rosedale Fire Brigade and CFA brigades across Victoria will sound their sirens four times. Each siren sounding will represent and honour the brave Victoria Police Officers who lost their lives in the line of duty in Kew at 5:40 pm Wednesday 22nd April 2020. If you can hear our sirens at 5:40pm, there is no reason to be alarmed. We encourage community members to utilise this time to take a moment to reflect and remember the sacrifice made by Leading Sen...ior Constable Lynette Taylor, Senior Constable Kevin King, Constable Josh Prestney and Constable Glen Humphris. You can add your individual condolences to the Victoria Police In Memoriam page here; https://bit.ly/2x5MqG4
