25.01.2022 Over 80% of businesses who participate in events, either as a sponsor or as a trade display, are doing so to improve brand awareness over anything else, including sales growth. Why? Interaction and data analytics are essential business tools and event participation allows you to see in real time the impact you are having on potential customers. A great watch.

13.01.2022 The name "Rose" for which my event management business is named after is important to my family, and also the history of Australia. My ancestors, descendant from Thomas Rose, born in England in the 1750's, were the first free Settlers in Australia, arriving in Sydney in 1793 and finally settling down on some land on the Hawkesbury River, which to this day is still an important place near to where my grandmother and father grew up. My great-grandmother whom I had never met was named Rose, and it was after her that my middle name was given, making me Brooke Rose Maisey. My history is very important to me, and so by naming my business after Rose, I wish to pay homage to my family and the history of Australia, the land and home I love.

Our new blog post about budgeting for events in small business is up on our website. NOTE: this blog is not about keeping to a budget! That task is left to you, sorry.

08.01.2022 Here is a local Art Exhibition Rose Events are organising coming in October. It has been a pleasure to work alongside Heather Winch and Debra Goos for this event. You can have a look at some of the amazing artwork here.
