25.01.2022 In recent weeks, the children have been inquisitive about our local bird life. We have been exploring the differences between magpies, crows and ravens. The children have collected small items for the birds to collect and use for their nests. They have also made their own birds using a variety of materials . What birds and animals can you see at your house? Outcome 2 children are connected with and contribute to their environment

21.01.2022 This week, the children have been exploring our garden.The vegetable patch was cleared and prepared for some new seeds.The vegetables already growing were picked and children used their senses to touch, taste and smell the yummy fruits and vegetables. Thoughout the experience the children were able to develop an understanding of healthy eating and sustainability exploring the world around them

14.01.2022 SUN SAFETY: Bonkers the monkey says it’s time to Slip, Slop, Slap! From September to May, we need sunscreen and hats to play outdoors. When your child returns to Rose Garden, please ensure they have a hat to wear outside.

13.01.2022 IMAGINATIVE PLAY- Today the children collaboratively worked on making a fairy house using beautiful spring flowers from our garden, demonstrating their imagination, creativity and co-operative storytelling abilities while they talked about Tinkerbell, Ben and Holly and other fairy tales. EYLF OUTCOME 4 - Children are confident and involved learners. Children resource their own learning through connecting with people, place, technologies and natural and processed materials.

01.01.2022 ENROLMENT CONFIRMATION & HOLIDAY FORMS- A friendly reminder to those families that haven’t yet returned continuation of enrolment and holiday forms they are now due. Additional copies are available from the office. We are very excited to be welcoming a lot of new children to our service over the coming weeks, including many siblings. We now have a family that has been with us from our opening day that will have a child in each of our three rooms.

01.01.2022 STAGE 4 RESTRICTIONS UPDATE: Premier Dan Andrews has just announced that subject to ongoing review by the public health team over the coming weeks, Childcare will be able to reopen for all families (no permit required) from 28th September 2020.
