24.01.2022 Does my bum look big in this! SPS Roseglen Glacier Girl ( Dating AT x Danny Gold/ Brillant) and Roseglen Cantarito (Cosmopolitan). I just love these two. Darn Covid for altering our plans, but the future is still at least exciting.

15.01.2022 Not long now until Daily leaves Germany. He is expected to exit quarantine in Australia on the 21st November. The end of 2020 is looking much better.

10.01.2022 ***** Community announcement. ***** Daily Dancer’s stud book is closed for the 2020 season. I will put up posts if additional semen is available during scheduled collections as we do get more than one dose each collect, however we will not be taking any new bookings.

07.01.2022 Daily Dancer is booked and nearly on his way home to Australia. Daily Dancer is a 4yo licensed stallion by the Champion stallion Dornik B. Dornik B is one of the most successful Pony stallions of all times. He has 8 European Championship Gold Medals, 4 times Bundeschampion, twice the Deutsche Meister. His contribution to the genetics of pony dressage can not be faulted nor underestimated. Daily Dancer's dam is the State Premium mare Mirca. She is the dam of a licensed stalli...on by FS Coco Jambo. Her Sire Miraculix has produced numerous licensed stallions and State Premium daughters. Most notable is the double Bundeschampion Magic Cornflakes. Daily Dancer was the Licensing champion at the Spring licensing in 2019, and won his Bundeschampionate qualifier in 2019 in addition to a win and a placing at two other outings. Daily Dancer has grown out of pony height at an unofficial 152cm, however he carries small genetics with 5 full siblings all well underheight and all pony breeding. Described at his licensing as an "extraordinarily sporty and dynamic riding pony with an enviable pedigree, Daily is the only stallion to provide those elusive Dornik B and Miraculix bloodlines in Australia. Dornik blood has successfully crossed with every GRP bloodline currently available in Australia with many ponies at FEI pony level and above in the open classes. He is at stud to a limited number of mares in 2020. An early bird offer is available if mares are booked and paid by 23rd August at $1650 inc GST. Regular stud fee is $1870 inc GST. LFG conditions apply. Vet costs additional.

05.01.2022 Due to a complication in recovery of Roseglen Pop Art aka Andy, he has had to undergo an emergency gelding and will obviously not be available via chilled semen. There is a number of doses of excellent quality frozen semen available to the discerning breeder. Thankful this little guy is still with us and grateful we can still retain his bloodlines to assist the Australian GRP gene pool.

01.01.2022 How will shipping semen work during Covid-19? Semen from Roseglen Farm stallions will still be available via chilled or frozen semen. Flight schedules are considerably reduced, meaning, semen may only go from major airport to major airport and may only be taken on one flight per day. What this means for mare owners and their vets is to give at least 24 hours notice for chilled collection. This may mean you need to scan your mare more often or send them to the vets for a few ...days. Mare owners may also be required to collect semen directly from the nearest major airport as not all couriers are operational. Whilst we understand mares sometimes do their own thing, same day delivery of semen is most likely not possible. Platinum Express post via Australia Post is apparently not affected by transport reduction (according to Aust Post). This is a great service that we have used numerous times. It is a 24 hour service to selected postcodes across Australia, however only once in multiple times has it taken 40 hours to get to a location. We are more than happy to provide frozen semen with all of the standard chilled semen guarantees and you get the piece of mind that the semen is waiting for your mare. Our boys have been collected and frozen by Goulburn Valley Equine Hospital and have more than above average motility and fertility. Please note, Kennedy is not available by frozen.
