09.01.2022 We're very excited to have been invited to be a part of the Mayor's Big Day Out on Saturday 7th October at Burrinja Cultural Centre from 10-3pm. Lots of c...ommunity groups will be there to show what a fantastic & diverse pace the beautiful hills are. However, we need volunteers to help on the day. You don't have to stay for the entire time, just an hour or two would be brilliant! The stall will be an opportunity to inform local residents about the issues with plastic bags and to educate them about the alternatives - we'll also have free goodies to hand out! So if you can help us next week please PM to let us know when you're available and how long for. We'll need assistance from 9am to help set up and after 3pm to pack down. And if you're not able to volunteer, we still hope you'll pop in to the event and support all the wonderful community groups involved. Please spread the word!!
