18.01.2022 Hi again, for those that are interested some additional clarifications from DWELP, "The only people permitted to remain will be those specified in section 10, part 3 of the Non-Essential Activity Directions given on 25 March 2020. This is:... a person whose place of residence is the accommodation facility a person who is ordinarily a resident of Victoria but has no permanent place of residence in Victoria or a person who has a permanent place of residence in Victoria, but that place is temporarily unavailable; or a person, on a temporary basis, who has travelled to Victoria for work purposes; or a person who was a temporary guest of the accommodation facility on the date that these directions were given; or a person who requires emergency accommodation, including in relation to family violence and other vulnerable groups Collecting belongings Persons wishing to retrieve belongings from closed caravan parks and camping grounds will need to contact the land manager/operator who will stage retrieval to ensure compliance with Mass Gathering Directions and social distancing." It has a large undercover outdoor area with a pot belly, BBQ, kitchen benches & a section for your dog too. Comes furnished ready to go with 2 double beds in it. We have a little amount of smoke haze today as we have no wind, but as the wind picks up for the day it goes away. We will post everyday to keep you all updated.... 07.01.2022 Good Morning to all. It is a magnificent day at Roseneath today. We do have good news to share, we are able to open from 1st June 2020, including the toilets BUT NOT THE SHOWERS.... However, to open we must adhere to all Government guidelines, so while we will be open, it will not be normal. Some of the changes are noted below 1/ IF YOU DO NOT FEEL WELL- PLEASE DO NOT COME 2/ Every time you check into the park you will be required to complete a Covid 19 declaration form, you must provide this signed form PRIOR to proceeding into the park. This means that you will not be able to enter the park outside of business hours, after 7pm without prior arrangement. 3/ The park BBQs will not be available. 4/ The shop will be open, however no more than 2 people at a time, there will be no self service including ice, ask and we will get for you, and there will be NO HOT FOOD 5/ Mandatory rule of 1.5m social distancing excluding household units. Those outside the household unit must observe this 1.5m rule until the relevant health directives applicable in Victoria allow otherwise; This will apply to ALL areas of the park 6/ The tennis court will be open, however you will need your own equipment, park supplied racquets and balls will be withdrawn until further notice. 7/ No more that 5 people in the camp kitchen and 4 people in the television room and ALL social distancing rules noted above must be followed. 8/ NO MORE THAN 4 IN THE TOILETS, please wait outside. The soap in the amenities has been replaced with disinfectant soap, there are spray bottles containing disinfectant/sanitiser in all toilets and near the basins, please do not hesitate to use. If you wipe down the toilet seats with anything other than the supplied toilet paper, PLEASE DO NOT FLUSH INTO SEPTIC SYSTEM 9/ There will be hand sanitiser at the entrance to the toilets and the shop. 10/ We strongly recommend that you have the Covidsafe app. Please also note that admission to the park will be at our discretion, please, if you do not feel well do not come, we would hate for anyone to travel only to be denied and that we may also conduct temperature checks at our discretion. 06.01.2022 Roseneath Caravan Park Meerlieu has some powered sites & unpowered sites available, we have a swimming pool, tennis court, lakefront, camp kitchen & BBQs. All animals are welcome & we have a large horse paddock with water available. Small shop with bait & ice. For fire affected residents or travellers. Please call Tracey on 51578298

04.01.2022 Morning everyone, just to let you all know that we will be selling fruit & veg from the local Perry Bridge Fruit & Veg produce over the holidays at the store. So come in and support our locals and buy some of their fresh produce here at Roseneath Caravan Park. Have a fabulous day :)

04.01.2022 Good evening everyone, please be advised that in line with Victorian Government stage 2 restrictions all Victorian Caravan Parks are closed as of midnight last night, The relevant exert from the Department of Health and Human Services is below; "The following facilities must close, except where the accommodation is for the purposes of respite, for victims of family violence, other vulnerable groups or for care purposes. This includes: caravan and camping parks, except where p...eople live there permanently or as an interim abode where the primary residence is not available." If anyone falls into the categories above please do not hesitate to call us and we will do our best to help if we are able.
