24.01.2022 Ghost you made it bro.!!
24.01.2022 This is a tough one. It is exceedingly rare that a single photograph can capture the emotion of a snake. This cobra mother was trying to protect her eggs and wa...s beaten savagely by ignorant people. The photographer, in tears, along with someone from a sanctuary, rescued her. She died the following morning from her severe injuries. He posted this photograph to demonstrate the incredible bravery and dignity these animals are capable of, and the terrible consequences ignorance about snakes can have. The look on her face is haunting. Please, do not kill snakes. -photo credit to Right Rishi Photography -post credit Lyall Naylor See more

17.01.2022 Do I have any takers..?
17.01.2022 Ever wondered why snakes are protected? I frequently see people on social media asking this question, so I thought I’d make a post about it to give people a better understanding of why there actually protected and so integral to our well being livelihood. Snakes are an important component of the natural environment and are commonly encountered in urban areas throughout Queensland. Many species have adapted extremely well to living with humans. We can also adapt to live sa...fely with snakes.. People don’t realise that snakes and other reptiles make up a significant proportion of the middle-order predators that keep our natural ecosystems working. Without them, the numbers of prey species would increase to unnatural levels and the predators that eat snakes struggle to find food. Not to mention our lively hood would be turned upside down, we would be over run by rodents therefore our food, water would be diseased, homes infestations etc. don’t know bout you but I’d much rather a snake every now and then, compared to dozens of rats running through my house... But unfortunately due to land clearing for agriculture, urban development, senseless killings by humans and through the introduction of animals such as domestic pets and cane toads some snake species have already become extinct and others threatened. Along with all Australian animals, this is why snakes are protected and under the Nature Conservation Act 1992. It’s a criminal offence to kill/injure or take any reptile from the wild. And must be reported if you’ve witnessed this behaviour. I believe we can all work together to make a positive change for our precious wildlife here in Australia, so they can be viewed in our very own backyards for the next generations to appreciate. Otherwise, sadly the only animals they’ll see are through a viewing glass at zoos. Please Share this message far and wide

10.01.2022 DIY egg incubator tub tutorial What you’ll need.. 13-18L click clack tub + lid Rainwater drain create (size suitable to fit your tub can also cut with garden scissors to fit if needed)... Two large thick sponges (Woolworths or coles) 800ml sterilised water (boil a pot or jug of water, let it cool before adding it to your tub) a lighter Place sponges flat on the bottom of your tub, poor water over sponges, there needs to be 1/2 an inch of water above your sponges place your create in your tub to the depth you’d like (as video shows) Burn with a lighter back and forth slowly but not to slow otherwise you’ll burn holes and we don’t want that.. keep doing so until you can move your tub and the create dosnt move, drill a hole on the top corner or your tub to be able to fit your thermostat and humidity reader cords inside next to the eggs. Allow water to dry on the create and on sides of the tub before placing any eggs inside, wam bam thank you mam! If you are trying with my rainwater create idea please post pics and if you have any further questions shoot me a message I’ll be happy to answer them for you.. Best of luck!!
