20.01.2022 Sundays are proving quite popular with members, visitors and social players who regularly enjoy playing the 9 hole Sunday Chook Run Competition. This Competition is open to everyone and there is no need for an Official handicap. Players can choose whether to play the Front or Back Nine. Many players enter twice and play both the front and back nines. The men tee off from the White Markers and the Ladies tee off from the Yellow Markers. Players enjoy seeing our local wildlife during their round (kangaroos, koalas, ducks etc). Below are some photos from last Sunday, 4th October. Paul Johnston and Shane, Wayne & Janelle Browning were also happy to find two Koalas during their round of golf. One near the 8th tee high up in a tree and one in tree near the 14th Green.

We all enjoyed a lovely lunch and many ladies were lucky enough to win trophies. 01.01.2022 Sunday, 11.10.20: Our Division 2 Pennants Team had a great result at Brisbane River Golf Course, Karana Downs today defeating Ipswich 4/1. Our team was represe...nted by Shane Browning 4/3, Jason Smith 6/5, Roger Graham 1 up, Paul Kuhn 2/1 and Paul Johnston 1/2. Roger’s opponent was pleased to score a hole in one on a par 3 during today’s game. During Jason’s game, he was pleased to successfully play a shot out of the mud in a dam with a 4 wood and put the ball beside the green from about 150 metres out. Perhaps, the lovely new Pennants Shirts donated by John Young and Jason Smith brought them good luck today.
