24.01.2022 New to Fridays. We welcome Steve as our new JP Signing Centre volunteer who will be covering Friday mornings. JP services are now available on Fridays at the Community Centre from 9am to 12

23.01.2022 We are lucky to once again have the Qld Gov Community Recovery team at the Community Centre this Thursday. As well as an ICC Community Development worker on Wednesday from 12.30.To make an appointment please contact us at the Community Centre ph 54641544 or text 0416284914 or fb message from this page. Please share this information with those who aren't on Facebook. If you have any questions don't hesitate to reach out.

17.01.2022 Connecting over Facebook is a great way for us to share news, however last week's small mailbox drop of a flyer around the centre of Rosewood certainly reached many that aren't on Facebook. Through this small mail drop another 35 households reached out for information and or support during the week. We are very thankful for the additional supports we had available during the week, provided to us by the Qld Gov Community Recovery team including Lifeline, and the Ipswich City C...ouncil. The Community Centre aims to ensure services and supports are available when needed. However, as this small mailbox drop highlighted, we have many community members not on Facebook so to those who are reading this post now can you help us to help others by having verbal conversations or by texting others whenever you read a post that may be of interest or could potentially be the additional support someone may be needing. Together we can make a difference by simply caring enough to share information. Thank you. See more

16.01.2022 Today is the day that we have Lifeline and the Qld Gov Community Recovery team at the Community Centre so please take this opportunity if you are feeling you need some extra support because of the hail storms. Community Centre staff are always here for our community but these additional resources are greatly appreciated and are here today (19 School Str Rosewood) between 9.30am and 1.30pm.

15.01.2022 Financial donations as well as hamper items certainly help make someone's Christmas

13.01.2022 The Community Centre received some feedback that there was an increase in people getting flat tyres around town. As we felt this could have been a result of screws and nails on the streets due to storm rubbish removal, we reported this to Ipswich City Council yesterday. They have contacted us today to let us know that they will be sending out the trucks to do the street sweeping in the very near future. Thank you ICC for your quick response.

12.01.2022 A huge thanks to the staff at Ipswich Nando's for the donation of 30 chicken, rice and salad lunches that we delivered through out Rosewood today.

08.01.2022 At the Community Centre today from 8.30am to 12 is Geff from Qld Youth and Family Support Services. Please drop in to say hi if you are having any concerns or have any questions about a young person in your life (12yrs to 21yrs).
