21.01.2022 Thank you for your efforts over the past 3 days to keep Queenslanders safe. From 6pm today, 11 local government areas will move out of lockdown into eased restr...ictions. Townsville, Palm Island, Ipswich, Logan City, Redlands, Sunshine Coast, Noosa, Somerset, Lockyer Valley, Scenic Rim and Gold Coast will be subject to new restrictions, including Venues must return to one person per four sqm indoors, and one person per two sqm outdoors. Smaller venues (up to 200 sqm) are allowed one person per two sqm, with a maximum of 50 people. Patrons must be seated to eat or drink. Patrons must wear a mask while inside a venue including when using gaming facilities, but not if they are seated to eat or drink. Patrons must wear masks when they cannot physically distance in outdoor areas, including when entering and exiting a venue. No dancing is allowed, except for weddings where dancing is restricted to 20 people. 19.01.2022 As per the Premier’s announcement this morning, as of 4pm today (Friday 2 October), patrons will NOT be required to be seated when eating or drinking, however the density requirements of one person per 4sqm inside and one person per 2sqm outside remain.

19.01.2022 Sundays are proving quite popular with members, visitors and social players who regularly enjoy playing the 9 hole Sunday Chook Run Competition. This Competition is open to everyone and there is no need for an Official handicap. Players can choose whether to play the Front or Back Nine. Many players enter twice and play both the front and back nines. The men tee off from the White Markers and the Ladies tee off from the Yellow Markers. Players enjoy seeing our local wildlife during their round (kangaroos, koalas, ducks etc). Below are some photos from last Sunday, 4th October. Paul Johnston and Shane, Wayne & Janelle Browning were also happy to find two Koalas during their round of golf. One near the 8th tee high up in a tree and one in tree near the 14th Green.

17.01.2022 Rosewood Golf Club were pleased to host MDGA Div 2 Pennants today. From all reports, a good day was had by all. Rosewood faced up against Esk and after a close game lost 3-2. Our team was represented by Shane, Paul K, Paul J, Wayne and Vic. Our two Paul’s were our only winners today. Thank you to Mary & Janelle for looking after the BBQ and thank you to Paul K for sending everyone off from the first tee. It was a pleasure hosting Pennants today and enjoying friendly competition with our fellow district clubs.

Roger’s opponent was pleased to score a hole in one on a par 3 during today’s game. During Jason’s game, he was pleased to successfully play a shot out of the mud in a dam with a 4 wood and put the ball beside the green from about 150 metres out. 09.01.2022 BREAKING: Lockdown will extend for 24 hours in the Brisbane and Moreton Bay local government areas after additional cases of community transmission were detecte...d. If you live in the Brisbane or Moreton Bay local government areas, wear your mask whenever you leave home. You should only leave home to buy essentials, such as groceries or medications; work or study if you can’t do either from home; exercise in your local area; or for healthcare or to provide help, care or support. This lockdown requirement will be reassessed tomorrow morning, pending further health advice. The current three-day lockdown ends at 6pm today for Townsville, Palm Island, Ipswich, Logan City, Redlands, Sunshine Coast, Noosa, Somerset, Lockyer Valley, Scenic Rim and Gold Coast. However for these 11 local government areas, additional measures remain in place for 14 days until 5.59pm on Friday 16 July. Residents must carry a mask at all times outside the home and wear them indoors or if social distancing isn’t possible. 03.01.2022 Rosewood Golf Club Division 2 Pennants Update: Today, Sunday 20.9.20, our Rosewood team travelled to Boonah to take on the Sandy Gallop team. Our team was represented by John Young, Shane Browning, Paul Johnston, Paul Kuhn and Victor Gibbons. The result was a 3-2 win for Rosewood with John, Shane & Paul Kuhn coming out on top.
