25.01.2022 Rosewood Church will be closed tomorrow due to the government 3 day lockdown, which commences tonight 8th January at 6pm and finishes 6pm Monday 11th January. We wish everyone a safe and happy Sabbath.
24.01.2022 Yes! This is an important reminder about what church is about. The church is God's appointed agency for the salvation of men. It was organized for service, and its mission is to carry the gospel to the world. Acts of the Apostles, p 9

23.01.2022 Our thoughts and prayers are with the people of Beirut after a large warehouse explosion has claimed over 100 lives and injured more than 5,000 people. Our ADRA... office in Beirut has been affected but already members from our ADRA Lebanon team are on the ground responding, distributing food and water, and supporting those assisting at the epi-centre. More details to come. #PrayForBeirut #PrayForLebanon #ADRAResponds ADRA International ADRA Lebanon See more
22.01.2022 PLEASE NOTE The Queensland Government requirement to wear facemasks in churches and places of worship will end at 1.00am 22nd January 2021 so we will no longer be required to wear them in church from this Sabbath.
20.01.2022 Update from Michael Peach, ADRA staff: While ADRA’s initial response is ongoing, we’ll work with the government authorities to agree to a larger response and lo...nger-term recovery. They are estimating more than 300,000 people have been left homeless and 90% of the city’s hotels are significantly damaged. Beirut’s grain stores were also destroyed by the blast; they were in warehouses at the port. Food and shelter will be critical for the people of Lebanon in the coming days. #PrayForBeirut #PrayForLebanon #ADRAResponds See more

13.01.2022 Rosewood Church will be open this Sabbath for Sabbath School and the Devine Service. If you are attending please note that face masks will be required to be worn in line with the Queensland Government guidelines in place until the 22nd of January 2021. We thank you for your co-operation in this matter and look forward to fellowshipping with you.
13.01.2022 This is a sobering read but worth it. Whilst we need to be kind and loving in our witness we are not to water down or misrepresent the truth. Prayer and guidance is needed.
11.01.2022 Wishing you a Happy World Pathfinder Day!! TPUM President, Pr Maveni Kaufononga #WPD20 #WPD2020
09.01.2022 We are extremely thankful to hear that our staff in Beirut are safe and currently responding to help all those affected by the explosion by providing water, foo...d, and sleeping cots to those assisting at the epicentre of the disaster. Our team is also assessing several neighborhoods around the blast zone so that we can provide immediate relief to affected families. The people of Beirut urgently need your help! Please, give now at bit.ly/ADRABeirut More updates to come. #PrayForLebanon #PrayForBeirut #ADRAResponds
08.01.2022 On the grounds of the ruins in Beirut: This is worse than the civil war. On August 4, a catastrophic explosion occurred in Beirut. Lebanon was already in a cri...tical situation with high unemployment and rising poverty, which was exacerbated the coronavirus. When 2,750 tons of ammonium nitrate exploded in the capital, it sent the country into an extraordinary crisis. Project manager Eliane Abikheir in ADRA Lebanon has lived in Beirut all her life and experienced two wars. However, she believes the country has never been in a deeper crisis than now. See more
06.01.2022 Post edited by Dr David Trim: "John Harvey Kellogg was a complicated man: he was a visionary medical and health reformer and institution-builder, who had a powe...rful influence for good on the growth of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. But he also had extreme views, not least on racial questions, and in some areas his influence was malign. The Adventist Church community both provided him with support but also constrained him. Once he refused to accept church authority, he embraced increasingly idiosyncratic theological views, which led him aware from Christianity. His attitudes to physical health and women became more and more extreme, propounding cures for which there was no scientific evidence, and the effects of which could be harmful. And, whereas he had once helped to advance the careers of African-American nurses and physicians, he became an apologist for the racist pseudoscience of eugenics. Want to know more? This article from the Encyclopedia of Seventh-day Adventists Online gives an overview of Kellogg’s career and provides a rounded picture of this titanic figure in the first half century of the Seventh-day Adventist, who ended up being disfellowshipped, and who then increasingly went off the rails." https://encyclopedia.adventist.org/article?id=89LQ #sda #johnharveykellogg #kelloggs #kelloggscornflakes #cornflakes #sanitarium #adventistchurch #sdaencyclopedia See more
