25.01.2022 Rosewood Church will be closed tomorrow due to the government 3 day lockdown, which commences tonight 8th January at 6pm and finishes 6pm Monday 11th January. We wish everyone a safe and happy Sabbath.

22.01.2022 PLEASE NOTE The Queensland Government requirement to wear facemasks in churches and places of worship will end at 1.00am 22nd January 2021 so we will no longer be required to wear them in church from this Sabbath.

20.01.2022 Update from Michael Peach, ADRA staff: While ADRA’s initial response is ongoing, we’ll work with the government authorities to agree to a larger response and lo...nger-term recovery. They are estimating more than 300,000 people have been left homeless and 90% of the city’s hotels are significantly damaged. Beirut’s grain stores were also destroyed by the blast; they were in warehouses at the port. If you are attending please note that face masks will be required to be worn in line with the Queensland Government guidelines in place until the 22nd of January 2021. Lebanon was already in a cri...tical situation with high unemployment and rising poverty, which was exacerbated the coronavirus. When 2,750 tons of ammonium nitrate exploded in the capital, it sent the country into an extraordinary crisis. But he also had extreme views, not least on racial questions, and in some areas his influence was malign. The Adventist Church community both provided him with support but also constrained him. Once he refused to accept church authority, he embraced increasingly idiosyncratic theological views, which led him aware from Christianity.
