25.01.2022 Never forgotten. We will always keep trying to find you precious Puppa
25.01.2022 I’ve been quiet. I’m sorry I haven’t given an update. Sadly we have no news of Rosie’s whereabouts. She would be 18 months old now. We have not had her in our lives for longer than we did have her in our lives. The impact of that loss is so hard to speak of. We miss her and still think of her everyday and accidentally still call her sometimes forgetting for a split second that she isn’t here Thank you to everyone who still think of and look out for any sign of our precious puppa. Your kindness and care is greatly appreciated always
24.01.2022 Night time is the hardest I miss you precious Puppa
23.01.2022 Still missing from Brisbane Tomorrow is our precious Puppa’s 1st birthday its been 3 months since we last saw you We had planned a party for you Rosie but you aren’t here Where are you? Are you safe and warm? Who will wrap up treats for you to open? Who will sing you a birthday song and take you for a huge run and play? It doesn’t bear thinking about really Our hearts are shattered into a million pieces. We love you so much We will never stop looking for y...ou. We will never give up on you Rosie Girl!! Background story: Rosie has been missing from our deck in Upper Brookfield in Brisbane since 23 March 2019. She is a microchipped and desexed red and tan kelpie. She was wearing a pink collar with contact details embroidered on it but unlikely to be still wearing it now. There is a $1000 reward for information leading to her return. If you know ANYTHING please contact us on 0427278004 or alternatively contact the RSPCA or Queensland Police. See more
22.01.2022 Potential sighting today between Highvale and Mt Nebo on Goat Track. A local who has been following Rosie’s story called to say that he had just seen a dog that looked just like Rosie run across the road and up the mountain into some bushes. He sent me details and so a friend and I (and two enthusiastic search and rescue dogs) went out and walked the track and called and called but sadly no luck, we did not see a dog at all If people use that road, please keep an eye out and call me on 0427278004 if you see a dog matching Rosie’s description. It may have been her or it may not have but we just have to keep trying to find her!! Thank you!
21.01.2022 POSSIBLE SIGHTING: Our Rosie Girl the Kelpie has been missing for three and a half months She is desexed, microchipped and would be 12 months old now. A kelpie turned up at a lady’s house in Pamela Street, Wynnum yesterday morning that looks VERY MUCH LIKE ROSIE however she was unable to keep her there and she ran off again. These are photos of our Rosie. If you see her please call me on 0427278004. If you can secure her and take her to a vet that would be amazing. There is still a $1000 reward! Thank you for your help everyone. It’s been a long time but we haven’t given up on finding her and I’m hoping that it’s only a matter of time before we bring our precious Puppa home
18.01.2022 I’ve been a bit quiet lately. Sorry everyone. Four months ago we said goodnight to Rosie on our deck. Then the next morning the gate was open and she was gone. Our little family as been trying to come to terms with our loss and our grief. It’s so hard. They say that time heals but I don’t think that’s true. Rosie is always in my thoughts. The ‘what if’s’ haunt us. There’s so many people experiencing the same horror as well. There is too much dog theft. Just now I saw a post f...rom a lady in Annerley who had her 14 week old puppy taken from her yard today. A bloke turned up and told her house painters that he was there to collect the puppy and off he went with it. This is a disgrace. Pet theft is illegal and it’s on the rise. Please secure your fur babies. We will never forgive ourselves for not bringing her inside to sleep that night. So now we just have to hope that with everyone’s help and post shares that someone sees Rosie out there in the world somewhere and comes forward. The $1000 reward is still on offer. We are trying to remain hopeful but with every day that passes it just feels like a reunion is becoming less likely. We love you Rosie. Wherever you are we desperately want you to know that we love you Edit: The puppy called Gertie that was stolen has been found. I’m so happy for them! It made my day to hear this news. See more
16.01.2022 Today it’s 11 months since we saw our Rosie. You were only 10 months old then. What a beautiful dog you would be now. You aren’t a puppy any more but we will always call you our Puppa. We will never give up on you. One day I hope we get the magic phone call that you have been found. We always live with that hope. Thank you to everyone who continues to check in and send links to found dogs that look like Rosie. We are always so grateful and although none to date have been our girl, it is heartwarming to know that Rosie is still remembered by so many. Rosie, we love you fiercely and always will.
11.01.2022 We will find you our darling, precious puppa. We will move mountains. We will never, ever give up on bringing you home where you belong.
