23.01.2022 "For centuries in the Western world, women have been conditioned to hate their bodies and its natural processes. Any menstrual conversation is considered taboo and ‘unsanitary’. Periods are often censored and used to belittle women. The media is also inundated with images of women and cleanliness, associating ideal femininity with purity. When a woman behaves outside these lines of femininity she is often accused of being ‘on her period,’ to explain her ‘disobedience’."

22.01.2022 "The last few months has seen the world rocked by revolution. As witnesses and agents for change, we have all been propelled to think about our identities and how they shift and move through space and time. And as pride month comes to a close, and as it does every year, I am left with the same question that haunts me every year. Am I queer enough? Will I ever be queer enough?"

22.01.2022 "The internet is a weird and wonderful place and it’s right there in our hot little hand. But in this digital age, we’ve become more dependent on screens than ever. We know that folks who spend less time on their phone are calmer, more focused and productive, friendlier, happier and have greater life-satisfaction and self-esteem. So, here are 10 tips for taking a breather from our pocket pals."

20.01.2022 "To be a virgin or not are labels imposed upon us, demeaning language cruelly applied by peers. ‘Prude.’ ‘Easy.’ ‘Promiscuous.’ ‘Slut.’ Insults thrown around like litter. Usually, it is women who are associated with these labels and who bear the brunt of this scrutiny over their sexual choices. For this reason, virginity is unquestionably a gendered construct."

18.01.2022 "I am tired of seeing photoshop on women, in magazines and on social media. It makes me so sad, the fact that these beautiful girls and women are being photoshopped to look like completely different versions of themselves. These major companies only want one particular body type, which leads the rest of us to constantly worry and start to hate our own bodies because we do not fit into these so called 'ideal' figures." Teen writer Chelsea on social media, photoshop + self love.
