27.04.2022 Hi Everyone, I have set some dates for next years boat licence practicals at Kinchant Dam. We've had to work around dam closures due to the racing boat people who have a number of races next year. At this stage we will be conducting practicals on the 29 January 2022, 19 February 2022, 12 March 2022 and the 02 April 2022. Please either ring or email me if you are wanting to do your boat licence practicals on any of these dates prior to signing up online as we only take limited numbers due to the increased amount of practical time we are now required to do by regulation. 31.03.2022 Hi Everyone, just posting some more dates for our practicals. So at this stage we will be doing boat/jet ski practicals on the 18 September 2021, 09 October 2021 and the 30 October 2021. To avoid disappointment please either email or phone me to see if we have spots available for our practicals before you sign up online. We only take a maximum of six people per practicals due to the extra amount of time we are now required by legislation to spend on the water. Safe boating everyone.

25.03.2022 Hi Everyone, We are now operating again doing boat and Jet Ski licence training and assessment after our authority to operate has been approved by Maritime Safety Queensland . At this stage the next two practical dates are planned for Saturday 04 September 2021 and the 18 September 2021. We keep you posted on future dates.

04.03.2022 Hi everyone, with the cooler weather nearly upon us I will only be doing practicals around one a month. Here are some future dates during winter: 19 May 2021 (three spots left), 10 July 2021 and the 14 August 2021. Please be aware that the online theory component must be completed prior to doing your practical component. Please ring me on 0428583185 to ask about availability. 23.01.2022 Hi Everyone, We wish you all a very happy and prosperous new year. The next practical boat driving dates are on the 23 January, 06 February, 20 February, 06 March and the 20 March 2021. Please be aware that we have limited spots on the practical days due to new legislation requiring use to do more on the water training. 21.01.2022 Hi Everyone, Good news. Based on recent advise from Maritime Safety Queensland we will be recommencing boat/Jet Ski licence practical sessions at Kinchant Dam as from the 23 May 2020. Our next practical dates after this will be the 13 June 2020 and the 04 July 2020 unless something unforeseeable pops up.

20.01.2022 Hi everyone, Due to an unforeseeable circumstance I have had to change practical dates once again. Very sorry for any inconvenience this may have. Our next two practical days will be on the 04 July 2020 and the 25 July 2020. These are both Saturdays. We will not be doing a practical on the 27 June 2020. Once again sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

20.01.2022 Hi Everyone, Just an update on what we are currently up to. At this stage I am recovering well from surgery and we are working towards doing a practical on the 31 October 2020. I will contact those people currently signed up prior to this date. Please be aware there have been changes with the current BoatSafe regulations as from the 01 October 2020. All students are now under the BoatSafe Business Rules required to complete a practical boat driving training session pri...or to undertaking the actual practical assessment. This will mean that students will be required to spend substantially more time doing the boat driving aspect of the course. Unfortunately this will mean a rise in our price structure which we are currently reviewing. It would be advantageous for student to practice drive a recreational boat prior to doing the course ensuring they are with a licenced driver. Also there is a good video on the Maritime Safety Queensland website showing you exactly what is required for your practical assessment.
