23.01.2022 I must admit that mending is not my favourite sewing job but I just couldn't refuse Kylie when she brought me some of the Cabbage Patch clothes from her childhood that were in need of new elastic and for buttons to be sewn back on. Many of them were made by her grandmother and I could just tell that these meant so much to her because not only did she love playing with them, but they brought back loving memories of her grandmother. So I sat watching TV and unpicking last night, ready for sewing tomorrow.

14.01.2022 We have truly wonderful neighbours! Cas, who lives up the street, used to drive past and see us out in the front yard with Bella. When she found out that we said goodbye to her a couple of weeks ago, she went home and got to work in the kitchen. We were totally blown away by her kindness when she knocked at our door yesterday with this amazing cake! She told us she lost her dog about 12 months ago and just wanted us to know she was thinking about us. Thank you so much Cas xxxxx

She had the most beautiful soul and showed us all nothing but unconditional love bringing a smile to our face every single day. You came into our lives 10 years ago and I dont know what your life was like before you joined us but I hope we gave you the best 10 years you could have ever wished for because you definitely gave that to us. Thank you Bella. Love you and miss you terribly. xxxxx

08.01.2022 Whoops, someone ordered the wrong size clothes and they were too big for the intended doll. Thankfully the recipient didn't let that spoil her birthday and she found another doll and teddy that they fit. She loved the clothes so much that she wouldn't let mummy return and exchange them for the right size!
