20.01.2022 Follow the data - if you are under 65 and healthy, you'll be fine. If you are over 65 and healthy, you'll almost certainly be fine (like you are almost certain ...to survive a car drive). If you are vulnerable, stay home. Easy reading version and research version (not peer reviewed yet - that process takes months). https://www.thecollegefix.com/stanford-epidemiologist-who-/ https://www.medrxiv.org//10/2020.04.05.20054361v1.full.pdf

20.01.2022 In a hotly contested international competition,my photo was ranked..... wait for it, number 82,449. Is that great, or what? It was placed ahead of 307,824 submissions. That's in the top 30% most voted.

19.01.2022 On 7th June, I alluded to my Cloudscape video nearing completion and publication. Well, I'm slightly embarrassed that it is still not completed, but want to assure you that it will be soon. When it happens I'm feeling it will possibly be rated as my Magnum Opus. Watch this space, folks....

18.01.2022 My promised Cloudscape video, the one I promised about 3 months ago, will soon be presented for the interest and pleasure, in whatsoever measure they please, of my FB audience. Here's 2 that I like, as examples:

18.01.2022 Soo nice and funny! Elephants, the great apes, cetaceans (whales & dolphins) and a number of other species deserve to be recognised as sapient, and given the same protection under similar laws pertaining to Homo Sapiens. Scientific studies indicate they are self-aware, and all display intelligence, love and nurturing and grief. In contrast, (mainly due to influence outside the family community, e.g. corporate and political) humans have lost the plot: divisive, polarised, unhealthy minds and bodies, and all "shitting in our own nests, ie. destroying the environment that we all depend upon for our lives.

17.01.2022 Clouds are fascinating. They can express every emotion - ranging from dramatic and exciting to serene and calming. I am making a video of my favourites, and invite you to post your own favourite cloud images to share with everyone.

17.01.2022 The two major political parties (the political Duopoly) are both party political entities marching to the same drums, "based on strict adherence to the policies and principles of the party regardless of the public interest", which means they do whatever is needed to retain power, including back-room deals with their corporate benefactors. Political donations from big corporations and wealthy individuals are without doubt a corrupting influence, yet both parties refuse to outl...Continue reading

14.01.2022 wildlife abounds at Lake Tinaroo

14.01.2022 Government lock-downs, travel restrictions and the economy. The main point of consternation and disagreement with the Federal Government's actions, is their extraordinary restrictions on one of the basic human civil-liberties: freedom of movement in public space. Their legislative orders in this regard are eroding civil-liberties, are economically disastrous, and ultimately somewhat totalitarian. The Law Council of Australia has questioned whether some of these "extraordinar...Continue reading

13.01.2022 Boys in the Bush (2) Video of my good mate Geoff, his brother and I fishing on the Mitchell River circa 1989. Old photos restored and published by yours truly.

12.01.2022 Boys in the Bush. Fishin' & hunting up Cape York Peninsula. I have completed a slideshow from musty old photograph albums dated from 1989 to 1999. Examples hereunder for your interest and entertainment. Ps. Check-out the Paul Hogan style shorts.

11.01.2022 Ulysses Butterflies were there, too. Papilio ulysses, the Ulysses butterfly, also known as the Blue emperor, is a large swallowtail butterfly, native to Australia, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea and the Solomon Islands. In Queensland, Australia, the wingspan is about 10.5 cm. The Ulysses butterfly is the tourism emblem in Queensland.

07.01.2022 An impressive Cumulonimbus sails over the Atherton Tablelands. I'm still working on the cloudscape video... One day soon I'll publish.

03.01.2022 Now look what our Feds are getting ready to do: An app that monitors your every move, and records everyone you might come into proximity with. They have been given the code to develop the surveillance software by Singapore or Taiwan, and it was expected to be rolled out within the next fortnight. "TraceTogether" uses Bluetooth to detect other users in close proximity, with those encounters stored on a person's data. WTF; Do these people really think we're going to surrender all civil liberties, so they can rule us like totalitarian dictators? This bullshit is like some sort of evil science fiction plot, but it's actually happening to us, here, in Australia! We all need to put a stop to it. Phone and write to your Federal MP, and tell those arrogant bastards we won't stand for it.

03.01.2022 These photos display a few of the recent diverse visual flavours and textures we experience here in tropical north Queensland, Australia.

02.01.2022 Hello dear friends. Here is another teaser for my long awaited Cloudscape video.

01.01.2022 Do you mind if I look at you for a bit, and drown in your eyes?
