25.01.2022 A bit of a bummer when you go for a Dad and Son drive for the long weekend in the Imbil forestry and you stay on the formed roads. However sometimes its a bit hard to stay on them when its red mud!

23.01.2022 The things we get up to try and please artists. I get ask to move some 7 and 8 ton rocks. Then they want them in tricky spots. Well if that’s not enough then he gets in the road!

23.01.2022 Got a job to relocate a 65000L 45t concrete tank at Tranquil Park Resort Maleny. We had to move it in a couple of stages. Bit of a hard pull uphill with pulley blocks but got it done. Video is of the easy part.

22.01.2022 Not every day you get to move an old 400hp boiler. Only been sitting on this farm at Maleny Dairies for 40yrs. At least it didnt go to scrap.

22.01.2022 I just love tricky jobs. Got a call from an insurance company to recover a jet ski off Old Woman Island earlier this year. Just appreciate the help of some locals who gave me a hand. I swam onto the island with a line and got a ride back. Love the Sunshine Coast.

22.01.2022 Got a call for a recovery from a couple of young fellas whod broken a steering arm off their BT50. Theyd at least tried to strap it up but the hilly terrain in Kenilworth Forestry was too steep for it. I welded it up and drove it out for them. A bit easier than dragging it all the way out.

22.01.2022 Ducked out to a TA last night. Person will be a tad sore but lucky otherwise.

22.01.2022 Was a little tested this week. Recovering a yacht that had sunk in Kawana Marina. When dealing with the tide in shallow water with air bags that obviously need water to work and a concrete hull that weighed 14t stuck in mud! But we never give up. Anyone want a project for free? We'll even deliver it for free on the Sunshine Coast.

21.01.2022 We get asked to do some deferent sort of jobs sometimes. Like collect 6x old Landcruisers from out west in the scrub Past Charleville. Even wiring up the steering and dealing with feral goats. Had fun trying to squeeze them on. At least we didnt go hungry.

21.01.2022 Had an early morning run to deliver this Art Piece (2.5t Rock!)from Maleny to an Art Gallery on the Gold Coast today. Things we do when people believe we can do anything. The fun bit will be getting it into the gallery.

20.01.2022 Matey got his BT-50 Ute in a spot of bother Obi Obi.

20.01.2022 What a privilege to help out the local QAS ambulance officer in a Arrol Johnston. The way he was sweating I was thinking he was going to be the patient shortly!

20.01.2022 This lad was hoping for an early knockoff this Friday arvo! Lucky he wasnt on his side otherwise he wouldve been a little in the poo!

19.01.2022 Answer: Set of Dozer drawn Rippers. Winch from dozer would raise and lower rippers in a counter lever motion. Rippers are upside down in photo.

18.01.2022 Ive got a couple of videos of Bugly my CanAm that Ive set up a 12000lb winch on the rear.

17.01.2022 Poor matey spent a couple of days bogged out the back of Jimna towards Borumba Dam Imbil. Spent 12hrs trying to dig himself out then decided to walk 40kms to get help!

16.01.2022 We had to winch out 4x rocks ranging from 14t up to 23t out of a rock face on a property on the Blackall Range. Then we winched the D6 and the 23t rock up a side cut to a waiting crane.

16.01.2022 This Orion has been gradually pulled down and today we took the fuselage from Maroochy Airport to Caloundra Air Museum. Now for the fun bit of couple of trips with the wings.

16.01.2022 Nice easy recovery this morning in Mooloolah River Mooloolaba. Did this job for Maritime Safety.

14.01.2022 I think these people were thinking they were going to have a truck rolled into their proposed lounge room. Lucky the retainer wall held up.

14.01.2022 We had to go bashing our way through the scrub today to recover a SWM motorbike out in Bellthorpe forestry. He drowned it in a puddle and couldnt pick it up.

13.01.2022 Just a few day to day jobs.

13.01.2022 Recovered a Patrol doing a turtle trick in Rainforest in the Jimna area. Had fun towing him out of the Conondale Ranges.

13.01.2022 Would anyone like to take a guess of what little treasure I found leaning up against this pine tree? Hint: I thought most of it was exposed.

13.01.2022 Hows this for a bloke in a spot of bother? Hits a wash out a bit hard on Fraser Island and the roof rack comes onto the bonnet. Well while hes fixing thats the tide comes in and hes bogged, then does the clutch trying to get out! Didnt have a good run. I just stiff barred him the 80km down the beach and across the barge to Claytons at Inskip.

12.01.2022 How this for a tight squeeze? Moving a Tiny House in amongst some trees. Try not to take any trees out they say! A bit of maneuvering and sideways shuffle we got it in there.

11.01.2022 Moving a plane. All in a days work. Well this is the easy bit. Organizing permits and security etc took a bit longer. Thanks to Suncoast Haulage for extendable trailer.

11.01.2022 Great Wall verses Mud Wall. We had three attempts to get into this Ute. They do get a bit tricky when its been flooding and was lucky it wasnt washed further down into Peachester.

10.01.2022 Got a call for a recovery from a couple of young fellas who’d broken a steering arm off their BT50. They’d at least tried to strap it up but the hilly terrain in Kenilworth Forestry was too steep for it. I welded it up and drove it out for them. A bit easier than dragging it all the way out.

08.01.2022 Had to recover a Jet Ski yesterday that had gone on the rocks at Pin Cushion in Maroochdore Bar. They never look any good after this. Dont float too well either!

07.01.2022 We get all sizes of bogged tractors to recover. They all seem to find the soft spot somewhere.

07.01.2022 I’ve got a couple of videos of Bugly my CanAm that I’ve set up a 12000lb winch on the rear.

06.01.2022 Queensland Government with Maritime Safety have started their War on Wrecks campaign. We were awarded the first one a Sunken yacht at Mooloolaba. All done in a day thanks to a good team.

06.01.2022 Just a little heart starter for the operator of this digger that went over an edge a bit further than he liked. Winched this excavator out in no time so he could get back to work in Maleny.

06.01.2022 When we say Well Recover Anything from Anywhere doesnt mean we move cabins! But just a little shift in Peachester they say. At least it stayed together.

05.01.2022 Sometimes Cow Cockies even get their tractors stuck in Conondale. With a bit of chainsaw work I was able to drive it out. Can have a bit of a win every now and then.

05.01.2022 Did a boat recovery job with Claytons Towing this week at Beachmere on the Sunshine Coast. Took a day to get it floating then spent night pumping it out, catching the tide and getting it lined up for removing. Job was for Maritime Safetys War on Wrecks program. #waronwrecks #claytonstowing
