22.01.2022 Rest in pieces! This 118yo wall held up long enough and it was time to go! The old Style of Lath and Plaster technique of finishing internal walls was the common method from the early 18th century till early 20th century.... This great old Girl The Mount Helena Tavern or affectionately referred by the locals as The Mounties May she live on for another 118years! Always a special place for an ice cold beer and a meal with mates, plenty of great times had! We look forward to and anticipate the re-open as swiftly as possible and continued support of the local community.
