It can be consumed morning, noon and night and even very early morning A healthy breakfast is the best way to start your day. Over the years what constitutes breakfast has not so much changed but expanded . And thus in response, Monster Health Food Co have grown their range of breakfast offerings. We particularly love this brand because it is locally run (Beecroft .... #supportlocal) and we absolute...ly love to support businesses who are neighbours to our shop. We are thrilled to be stocking three varieties - Free and Lo Muesli This muesli can be eaten hot or cold and is gluten and nut free. With a 4 health star rating this muesli is certainly one for those who are health conscious. Multigrain Porridge This porridge has been given a 5 star health rating and is also low G.I and nut free. 06.01.2022 For weeks now I’ve had these products in my cupboard. For weeks now Amanda has asked me to post about these. I’ve reached that point of the day when I wanted something and I cracked open the tortilla chips and some salsa and now I understand why she has been asking me to talk about it. ... Oh ... my ... everyone ! Get. These. In. Your. Trolley. Now. Mexico City Foods was the first company in Australia to make corn chips and tortillas using the authentic nixtamal method. In 1978, under Senor Nila the production had begun but was limited to restaurants and the few lucky Mexicans who knew the secret. Later on, in 2000, Chef Luis Sada took over the business and created Mexico City Food Products. Under Luis' guidance the nixtamal range of products expanded to include more flavours of totopos (that's chips for those who don't speak Spanish), tostadas (the real Mexican hard taco) and most of the other products we have today In 2016, Diana and Pedr took over the reigns and have grown Mexico City Foods into the business you see today. Diana is a Mexican by birth and an Aussie by choice. She is passionate about her heritage and loves the food of her home country. 02.01.2022 Need some inspiration to get yourself cooking a hearty warm meal for dinner tonight? The weather is cooling so it’s the perfect time to start cooking a beautiful hearty casserole. Today I picked up some beautiful vegetables (& fruit ) to cook a nice homemade dinner. ... It’s been weeks since I’ve cooked (it’s Mel and I’m going into my 35th week of being pregnant with twins ... yes they are growing really well and yes I’m in a lot of discomfort ) however ... I wanted to cook. So I’ve thrown in my casserole dish pumpkin, carrots, zucchini, mushrooms, onion, garlic, potato and chuck steak from our good friends at Webster's Gourmet Meat Kitchen plus some herbs and spices and veggie stock. Put the oven on at around 180 degs for 2 1/2 - 3 hours and our dinner will be ready for tonight. Stay safe and happy cooking. See you soon.
