25.01.2022 The sole traders who received no benefit during the COVID hand out of 'job keeper' or 'job seeker' and are still struggling to keep their family business solvent, would appreciate a share in the $75million instead of using (or more correctly 'wasting') that money on telling us the voter what we already know. 15.01.2022 Our oceans are under threat from pollution, global climate changes and exploitation to feed a growing world population. Today the world polulation is 7.8billion, 100 years ago it was 1 billion. If the world seafood resource is not managed so it can reamain sustainable, how is the world going to support itself in 2050 with a projected world population of 9.9billion? As a nation, we need to act NOW to ensure our fishing and associated practices on our land and in our territori...al waters are managed to sustain future generations and to ensure the survival of all species. Short term greed is going to impact serverely on the long term need if we don't put sustainable practices into place now. Australia needs leadership on this and other assocaited issues now...regardless of who will be in 'power' in the next couple of elections....we need long term vision, as opposed to short term 're elction' vote catchers... 15.01.2022 While most families were safe in their homes celebrating the true meaning of Christmas (peace, love and harmony for all), others were at their work place ensuring that we were safe and that in case of an emergency situation, the help needed was on hand.
