This Wednesday night at Beaches Zen Den, join long-term meditation teacher and yogi, Grant Wolf Whitfield for an explorative journey that takes you through physical meditations including Laughter Yoga and Ki Yoga active Breathing exercises into more refined Hatha yoga breathing and breath awareness continuing deeper into calming of the mind through guided meditation, stillness, mantra and silence... leave with take-home tools and techniques to invigorate the inner and outer body to find your happy place. 15.01.2022 Shae will be kicking off our new variety night, WildCard Wednesday this week at 6pm with a deep healing practice called The Quantum Light Breath which was developed by Psychologist and Spiritual Teacher Jeru Kabbal. **Full transparency disclaimer alert** this is a heavy breathwork session which can surface trauma and other repressed emotions which are held in the body. We must stress this practice is not for the faint hearted and can be quite confronting as we will be holding a space where participants will be welcomed to release and express these emotions if they wish. 15.01.2022 Hello Yogis! Well, this crazy year is coming to an end already. We wanted to thank you for getting behind our new yoga program this year and supporting us to bring a more holistic program to the coast featuring some amazing teachers. Let us tell you, this is just the beginning! December’s schedule will be a bit different with some of us being away for Christmas and other commitments. We have a couple of special events on to finish the year as well including an awesome cacao a...nd ecstatic dance followed by an end-of-year wrap up dinner on the 16th as well as a special solstice yoga and breakfast to celebrate the last class of the year on the 19th. 13.01.2022 Along with our new October class schedule, we are excited to announce the launch of WolfYoga, a style of yoga developed by our Head Teacher Grant Wolf Whitfield over the course of his 20+ years teaching and training around the world. WolfYoga is Grant Wolf Whitfield’s personal blend of a variety of traditional and non-traditional Hatha Yoga approaches. Flowing sequences combine elements of Hatha Vinyasa, Synergy-Yoga, Pilates, Ashtanga, Iyengar, Pranic-Flow, Ki and Dance. Al...l sequences include breathing and meditation from ancient and modern sources as well as featuring each week one of the seven natural principles of yoga applied in meditation and relaxation. WolfYoga will soon be commencing WolF-Flow Seasonal Sequences which will allow participants to improve and expand upon their practice as they focus on one main sequence, designed to reflect the qualities and the balancing of energies for each season. Grant will be offering both Foundational classes which are suitable for beginners as well as Open classes which are suitable for those wanting to expand on their practice. Ross will be guiding us through The Third Eye Meditation, as taught by our friend Dr. Gillian Ross along with a reflection on being in the now. Class starts at 6pm in the Zen Den underneath Beaches Restaurant. Payment by Dana (optional donation or offering or gift/service).

10.01.2022 We had a wonderful first week back with our new yoga program with many new and old faces coming through and experiencing the rejuvenated energy of the space and the variety of teachings on offer. After gathering the feedback last week, there are a few slight alterations to time slots this week to allow a little more time for work commuters to make it to evening classes at 6:00pm and allowing enough time to drop the kids off, grab a coffee and get to the 9:15 morning classes. We are introducing a new class WildCard Wednesday which will be taken by various teachers and include meditations, reflections, group activities and breathwork. We also would like to welcome our new teacher Celine all the way from Switzerland to the team: My name is céline and i would call myself a yoginomad. For t...he last 2 years I was travelling the world with my yogamat and was teaching yoga wherever i could. I fell in love with yoga 8 years ago when i went to my first yoga class. And for 4 years I have been teaching and sharing my love of movement and growth of the soul. Yoga has taught me so much about who I am as a person, how to treat my body and also how to treat those around me. My mission is to enjoy a very happy and healthy life doing the things I love, whilst trying to help others make positive changes to their lives. Nothing shifts unless something changes. Are you ready to take the first step to taking your life to the next level? My background as a fitness trainer and nurse allows me to integrate the various biodynamic aspects of the body into my teaching and to combine the functionality of the body with spirituality.
