21.01.2022 I have spent the last hour on the phone to police over the tragedy that has unfolded on the Lindum level crossing today. A young woman with her whole life ahead of her has tragically died at this notorious intersection. My deepest condolences to her family, friends and loved ones. I grieve with you. This is just an awful accident. ... I have always been pushing to have this dangerous level crossing fixed. Today is not the day to point fingers, but please be assured I will be bringing this tragedy to the attention of my colleagues as a matter of urgency. Another life gone too soon.
