25.01.2022 Rostrum Club 22 Im having a blast with diction, yet my yap is shut. Its not all about speaking, otherwise, there would be no speakers to be heard of. You dont have to take my word for it, although you might just say, speak for yourself. Find the words for you, in speech shared at our Rostrum Club 22 meeting. You can even step on to a platform without needing to ramble, although, you can go on, as our club is now completely, all online. So..... if youre a past member, s...tuck in your travels, missing the club, a passerby wanting to know for yourself what it is to join in with the grin(s) like a cheshire cat, dont be shy, give us a holler, we will say hi. 22.01.2022 Extremely delightful moments 4 Rostrum Club 22 last week during its 4th Online Zoom meeting. Ashish Singh Negi chaired this meeting, where nominated speakers Gerard OLeary and Dianne Cockburn, delivered exciting, engaging and entertaining speeches on theme, Planning for the future. Visitors, Paul W and Gaurangi Joshi, also enjoyed being part of the club activities. At the end, Coach Andrew Downing evaluated the meeting and gave some useful tips to role bearers and speakers for improvisation. Next meeting is scheduled on Thursday, 4th June20 . 21.01.2022 The fifth virtual meeting ended with a high five last week, where Club was honored to induct new member, Galvin Burner and to welcome new visitor. Del DF along with other club members. Bryan Kirchner beautifully chaired the meeting with his calm and composed style. Nominated speeches were given by Andrew Downing, Ashish Singh Negi, Matthew Buckley, Margaret Kirchner and Prina Oza on theme Rostrums Role in community, ahead of business meeting. 19.01.2022 A lot happened last month for this exciting and welcoming Public speaking club- Rostrum Club 22. We got one more dashing and enthusiastic member inducted to our club - Rohan Arya. He is doing his IMBA from University of South Australia and is keen to learn more about professional as well as cross cultural experience. We wish him the best for his upcoming journey with the club to accomplish his future endeavors. Our Treasurer Carly kane has won both the awards, Freeman Rex po...bke 'Spot on' award and Banjo top phrase award for her speech on 'Innovation in health for indigenous communities.' And in our last hybrid meeting, our program director Gabriela Proc organised an interesting speaking exercise by conducting formal as well as informal meetings among the nominated members. This gave an insight on how to formally or informally conduct a meeting among team members. 17.01.2022 Excitement of Rostrum Club 22 went sixfold last week when Club successfully completed its sixth virtual mode meeting along with 3 new visitors. Also, visitor Gaurangi Joshi was formally inducted by Club President Gerard OLeary and was warmly welcomed by Cubs membership manager Eleonora Formato. 09.01.2022 On Thursday we had an amazing meeting with a record number of EIGHT visitors. When the meeting ended, we had six. Why? Two of them joined our club as members. Dianne Cockburn and her son Harry Cockburn were inducted to our club 22 by our president Gerard OLeary. We got to know about them from their "About Me" speeches. Dianne won the Banjo Top Phrase Award along with Arok, for her analogical speech. ... Excited to hear more speeches from the mom-son duo.

New Member 'Judith Crawford' was inducted by Club President Gerard O'Leary.... Dianne Cockburn was superb with her 1st ever proactive chairmanship role to run the meeting which had 3 nominated speeches and one short notice speech. 03.01.2022 Rostrum Club 22 had an amazing leap in its efforts last week to conduct a successful Hybrid meeting in a new venue - Plympton community center, Adelaide. Here are the following highlights; Margaret Kirchner chaired the hybrid meeting keeping interests of our offline and online members aligned to the agenda. Club President Gerard O'Leary inducted new member Khalia primer into the club. Matthew won the Rex pobke spot on award for his insightful speech on the theme 'Laughter is ...the best medicine'. Our youngest member Harry Cockburn won the Banjo top phrase award through his speech 'I couldn't stop laughing'. And Coach Heather Layton gave her constructive evaluation of the meeting at the end. Club always find its way to socialize, innovate and materialize its vision of creating a fun learning environment for all of its members.
