How long have you been involved in Rotaract/Rotary (incl. Youth programs etc)? Since 2018, so for about 3.5 years. RYLA 2021 was the best thing I ever did! 3. What drew you to Rotaract and what do you enjoy about it? I joined Rotaract to make new friends. What I love about Rotaract is the opportunities that it provides for professional development, meeting people, travel and being a part of a community where you are welcomed anywhere around the world. 4. What do you do outside of Rotaract (Work/Hobbies etc.)? Outside of Rotaract, I enjoy going to toastmasters, 5:30 club, spending quality time with friends while having a few bevvies, 4wd and camping. But for me, nothing beats going to the beach and having the sand between my toes and swimming in the ocean.

10.01.2022 Let's head back to Sydney with Jason Terry from D9685. 1. What Rotaract Club/District are you a part of? I am a part of the Rotaract Club of Pennant Hills - Cherrybrook which is a part of District 9685 (north of Sydney City)... 2. How long have you been involved in the Rotaract/Rotary family (incl. Youth Programs. etc.)? I have been a Rotaractor for 3 years and a Rotarian for an entire year as well. I had the opportunity to attend District RYLA in 2019 and was lucky enough to be chosen as 1 out of 26 people to attend the very first RYLA Oceania in 2020. 3. What drew you to Rotaract and what do you enjoy about it? I have been in community service for more than 10 years. I was drawn to Community service starting in St John Ambulance Australia when I was 16 years old and left when I was 25 years old. When I left St John it made me realise how much I enjoyed community service. It wasn’t long until I stumbled across the Hills Rotaract Club. In the year 2019, I was elected the treasurer of the Hills Rotaract club and due to how much I enjoyed it and wanting the organisation to grow, I started the Club of pennant Hills and Cherrybrook in District 9685. There is so much I contribute to Rotaract and these are: - Leadership Skills - Learning Opportunities - Rotary Connections - Rotaract Connections - International connections - International Opportunities - And most Importantly FRIENDS! 4. What do you do outside of Rotaract (work/hobbies. etc.)? Outside of Rotaract I am currently studying IT in TAFE and outside of TAFE I am a Dungeons and Dragons Dungeon Master and I also like to play commuter games with my friends online.

09.01.2022 Time to head west over to WA to introduce Eeshwar Rajagopalan of D9455! 1. What Rotaract Club/District are you a part of? Rotaract Club of Subiaco and Rotary Club of Elizabeth Quay, District 9455, Western Australia... 2. How long have you been involved in the Rotaract/Rotary family (incl. Youth Programs. etc.)? My Rotary journey started as a participant across a number of youth programs, including the National Youth Science Forum in 2009. Rotary again sponsored me as part of the John Curtin Leadership Academy (JCLA) at university, after which I joined the Rotaract Club of Rossmoyne as the Charter Vice President. I have been a Rotaractor now for 9 years and a Rotarian for 2.5 years, during which time I have been a member of several clubs, some overseas, held many club positions, and taken on a number of roles within the greater Rotary organisation. I currently hold the positions of RI Membership Committee Member 2020-23, District 9455 Youth Director 2020-23 and RA Non-Executive Director - Training 2021-22, as well as that of DRR 2019-22. 3. What drew you to Rotaract and what do you enjoy about it? I didn't know anything about Rotaract before I was invited by the same club who has sponsored me to attend JCLA. I joined because I felt that it would be a great opportunity to share what I had learned at JCLA, as well as to give back to the community. I've remained a member because of all of the amazing friends I have made globally, the opportunities it has provided me to serve and develop personally and professionally, and because it's a great excuse to travel all over the world and feel at home in every city I visit! 4. What do you do outside of Rotaract (work/hobbies. etc.)? By day, I am an engineer, working on developing, implementing and maintaining real-time monitoring systems for several global oil and gas production assets, as well as exploring opportunities to assist gas transmission network operators transition into the hydrogen economy. Outside of work I indulge in a variety of hobbies, including playing and designing boardgames, travelling, photography, videography and sound recording
