16.01.2022 Big Congratulations to our friends at The Hills for their amazing work, despite the pandemic and its many complications! True stars, they are :D !! Hills Rotaract Club, Inc
14.01.2022 Yet another job worth commending done by our Neighbours at The Hills!
12.01.2022 A huge Congratulations to the President of the University of Adelaide Rotaract Club in recognition of his hard work despite the difficulties that came with the pandemic year! Many of us in District 9685 can proudly say that despite his endlessly busy schedule and being distanced by several borders, he has still been a major source of not only inspiration but also support! We at Macquarie University Rotaract, also hope to be a source of support for Internationals Students and ...facilitate a safe space where everyone no matter their origins, interests or personalities etc can feel like they belong.... a real family! And with UniAdelaide as such an outstanding model, it makes our job slightly easier we dare say. Rotarians and Rotaracts we believe can reach a consensus in the fact that we can look to both Lenard and his Executive Team as endless inspiration and motivation. A BIG BIG BIG CONGRATULATIONS to Lenard once again on his outstanding achievements and also to his amazing Team! Your NSW colleagues applaud you!!! You've definitely left a great legacy behind nationally, if not Internationally! See more
12.01.2022 In this time of Social Distancing, while it's not the most convenient to get a Club up and running, its important that everyone is mindful of their health. MeTime and wellbeing are especially important, as well as spending time with those who matter... a good way to procrastinate I say without breaking any rules is bingeing TED-Ed Videos.... as Uni student I can proudly say its one of my favourite yet arguably USEFUL forms of Procrastination. Here is one very interesting and ...relevant one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x7KKkElpyKQ&t=5s In terms of what's been happening with the setting up of the Club, I've been actively trying to meet and connect with Rotarians from all of Sydney's District's. One of the benefits about Zoom is that commute and time is no longer a major hindrance... rather it puts you in touch with many new, likeminded individuals. I'm looking forward to the time post-COVID-19 and being more active in the community once distancing is no longer required... I feel Rotary is in for a period of high growth in the near future! Please take care of yourselves and thank you for supporting us, Sara Lin

05.01.2022 Hello everyone, Thank you all so much for your love and support so far. It's been a bit of a tumultuous year with the planned revival of the club. After a leadership change and recruitment struggle, it has been decided that I will be fulfilling the position of President for the Club, as passed onto me by the former President. Currently, we are undergoing the University's required affiliation process and one of our main hindrances is numbers. We do, however, have a passionate ...Exec ready but for many of us, it is a first-time Leadership position and/or experience with Rotary/Rotaract. However, we pledge to rigorously learn and uphold the values of Rotaract/Rotary to the best of our ability. We hope to bring about not only fellowship among the student body of the University but also among the community of the greater Sydney area and all their respective Rotary branches. Please bear with us as we undergo this learning and arduous revival process. 2020 is not only a new year but also the start of a new decade and I predict it will bring many new beginnings and opportunities with it. In an effort to learn more about Rotary and Rotaract as a whole, I would like to inquire as to whether I may be able to get attend some of your Branch’s meetings? With your permission, it would also allow my colleagues and I to be given a chance to get you to meet you as well as learn about each individual’s role on the Exec. We thank you for all your guidance and understanding. Should you need to contact me, please contact via email at: [email protected] Apologies for the long post :D. I look forward to hearing from you all soon! Yours sincerely, Sara Lin (President of Macquarie University Rotaract)
