12.01.2022 People are amazing! Our Club is donating 40 Christmas hampers to the Magdalene Centre & shopping for the contents often draws enquiring looks when people see a ...shopping trolley laden with 40 cans of Milo, 40 cans of fruit, 40 cartons of long life milk, etc. & our Club member who is doing the shopping has had several conversations with curious shoppers. One such conversation had a surprising and heart-warming outcome when a kind and generous lady donated $20 to the cause. What a lovely gesture, and one that is greatly appreciated. See more

05.01.2022 The Rotary Club of Adelaide Parks recently celebrated its 35th Anniversary. The occasion was marked by a dinner attended by past & present members and their guests, including a number of the original charter members.

04.01.2022 What a great day for our Club! We won the Premiers Community Service Award for our support of The Magdalene Center in Whitmore Square. Present to accept the award was our President Jim Davies, and we later caught up with Anne Crawford and The Hon Vicki Chapman, Deputy Premier and Attorney General. We have done a number of things for them, including a years supply of toilet paper, cosmetics, food, donations, and more. This is what makes you proud to be a Rotarian.... Special thanks go to Anne Crawford and Keith Pearson for a lot of the organising, and to the rest of the club for their support. See more
