25.01.2022 It was fantastic to welcome Linda McGillivray OAM to the club last night and hear about her lifetime commitment to Girl Guides. The Rotary Bookmart has built a... great relationship with Woodville South Guides and the Seaton Guides since moving into the hall they share and in September, all Rotary Bookmart's sales minus expenses were donated to these two groups. Linda shared not only her amazing life and experience supporting Girl Guides and people with a disability, she also shared her appreciation of the Rotary Bookmart and Kidman Park Rotary Club which will support the continued programs for the girls as well as helping those that might not be able to afford the fees or uniform. A great example of community organisations supporting each other to make a difference for the local community! As Girl Guides Australia empowers girls and young women to grow into confident, self-respecting, responsible community members, I am sure there will be some future rotarians in the group! 18.01.2022 Due to the extreme heat forecast for Thursday 18 February, Rotary Bookmart will be closed. Reopening again at 10 am on Saturday 20 February.

07.01.2022 Rotary Bookmart Woodville West will be open on the public holiday, Monday 8th March as per normal. Don't forget children's books sale starts this Saturday 6th March to Saturday 13th March. All children's books $1.
