24.01.2022 Full Moon at the Hut Botanical Garden thanks everyone who joined for a lovely evening

22.01.2022 This week’s guest speaker was our very own Valerie Simons, who delighted and inspired us with her journey earlier this year to Niarobi, Africa. Valerie visited St Jude’s and also schools in the slums of Kibera and Mirror of Hope charity school, a school dedicated to supporting the children and community of the Kibera Slum. Meeting her sponsor son Cyril, from Mirror of Hope and sharing a meal with his family was a highlight of Valerie’s trip. Thank you Valerie for showing us how we can all make a difference, and together as Rotarians, that difference can be huge.

22.01.2022 Captain Roger Rusling gave us a great insight on the South China Seas conundrum and maritime law. Surprising how little we know about the oceans our ships cruise through on a daily basis. Have a great day everyone

We are all responsible. Check the photos and keep the recycling card from Trevor below Lots of awards and recognition...s too this morning, first of all for Jeanette Johnstone for her nomination as senior Australian of the Year, your are definitely Australian of the year in our heart Then, acknowledgement from The @rotaryfoundation for being a major donor & the Lionel McCray Memorial Trophy certificate of recognition was handed to past President James to reward the club for being an outstanding club in District 9600. 09.01.2022 P R O J E C T L E A R N V A N U A T U A project from Rotary Paddington in partnership with Rotary Port Vila thanks to our incredible Rotarian Denise with Teacher In a Box. Denise gave us a passionate talk about The project that was born last year and has now grown up to be soon realized on the field in the Efate & Espiritu Santo.... Denise made us travel through the schools of Vanuatu and showed us the insight of the life being a teacher and a child in Vanuatu. A huge Lack of books and resources is what Teacher in a Box will help fixing and bring a better access to education to the communities. It is a very exciting project that came alive thanks to our amazing members and TIB workers. #thefutureisinourhands WE NEED YOU We are still looking for laptops donations so we can prepare more teacher in a box devices and help more communities.
