24.01.2022 A great turn up this morning with 28 attendees. Our guest speaker was DG Michael Buckeridge and guest was DGE Adele Hughes. Michael spoke about Zoom meetings and the information available on the district website. We toasted the International Clubs of China. And we heard some good news stories from members. Stay safe and see you in a fortnight

15.01.2022 Day 2 working bee has seen the skate ramps demolished and the playground centre frame now upright. Tomorrow we will move the frame across the floor into position and bolt it down. Just need to then put the jigsaw of bits together. How hard can it be??

13.01.2022 After 24 service hours removing the skate ramps a little over two weeks ago we have now completed the playground erection with another 126 service hours of work. Good job team Rotary. This is a cornerstone project for the new HBNC Hive complex that is quickly taking shape at the old Rock off skate precinct.

04.01.2022 I attended the District Zoom meeting tonight. We had the pleasure of having our member Brian Jessett begin the meeting with the Last Post (pictured). We had guest speaker Mark Huddleston talk about Rotary and the impact & changes COVID-19 is having on our meetings and Rotary as a whole. It is a great time to reflect on projects you were doing and whether they will still relevant post COVID. A great speaker as always
