21.01.2022 Our changeover night was held on Thursday 25th June where we said thank you to the Board of 2019/20 under the leadership of joint presidents Sid and Gerardine, and welcomed our newly installed Board for 2020/21. Even though COVID-19 restrictions were occurring and so this celebration was much smaller than past years, a very enjoyable evening and meal was had by all. Here is newly inducted President Ron proudly showing the club this years theme banner 'Rotary Opens Opportunities'. We look forward to another year ahead of grabbing the opportunity to serve our community.

19.01.2022 We still have quite a few masks available, please let us know if you need any.

18.01.2022 Kerang Rotary volunteers have been hard at work making more cloth masks. We again have them available for community usage. If you wish to get some, comment below or message president Ron Kelly who can organise delivery or they can be picked up. Support by any donation is appreciated - proceeds go to community based projects.

17.01.2022 Another project for our community completed. Rotarian Gerardine and Friend of Rotary Irene hand over 62 clothing protectors they handmade over the past few weeks to Glenarm nurse Melissa.

17.01.2022 Spaces still available in our November course. Registration forms available at https://rotary9780.org/SitePage/rotary-leadership-institute or from Club President's and Secretaries.

16.01.2022 Great coverage in today's local paper, the Gannawarra Times, about our ongoing mask-making project.

15.01.2022 Do you or does someone you know get around on a mobility scooter? If so, you'll realise that visibility is essential for safety. The Rotary Club of Kerang has some of these bright Hi-Vis vests available to anyone who needs them. Be seen, be safe! We make these vests available for free to those who need them. Remember, we also have face-masks available on the same basis. As always, however, any voluntary donation towards our ongoing projects is welcome. If you need one or know of anyone in need of a vest or a mask, get in touch.

13.01.2022 A great opportunity, without leaving home.

11.01.2022 Can't wait for the first D9780 online Rotary Leadership Course this weekend.

11.01.2022 If you have completed RLI and you haven't done the survey, can you please do so the committee can work towards keeping the program relevant and available to more members.

10.01.2022 This weekend, the last of the four information boards has been put up at the Rotary BBQ shelter in Atkinson Park, Kerang. The final board is a map of the many Ramsar wetlands in the area which are easily accessible for visitors should they choose to stay. It is designed to catch the attention of locals and visitors alike so that they might decide to go and see the abundant natural sights we have. There are many photos and lots of interesting information on the board, you should go down sometime and check it out. Many thanks to Damien Cook from Rakali Ecological Consulting who supplied many of the stunning photos and to the North Central Catchment Management Authority who kindly provided the map we used.

08.01.2022 Rotary is an active service club doing good in the world. We are always looking for members who can bring their skills along, but you don't have to be a rocket scientist! Although our activities are constrained at the present, we still have many projects on the go. If you want to make enquiries about joining us, please by all means, get in touch!

08.01.2022 Wonderful to see all the gifts from Rotarians of D9780 arriving safely at Purple House in Alice Springs, in the huge transport box made by Rotary Club of Kerang member Terry Ayres. Job well done

07.01.2022 Yesterday we had another excellent afternoon of work/pleasure by a group of Kerang Rotarians and Friends of Rotary doing good in our community. More face masks have been produced for people in need. All we ask for is a smile and to remember the great works done by Rotary, Donations are gratefully accepted to go towards future community projects. Please message this page if you would like any or if you would like to assist with sewing.

06.01.2022 With the increased need for masks to be worn when out and about, the Rotary Club of Kerang is again asking for our great band of volunteers to make some more for us to distribute to groups who need them. If you would like to be involved, contact the masks project co-ordinator Karen Davey through any Rotarian who can help with patterns and fabric.

05.01.2022 Many myths about Rotary get busted here!! Ask if you want to know more about Rotary and especially our club - the Rotary E-Club of Australia Nomads.

05.01.2022 Another completed project for our community.

03.01.2022 Rotary Club of Kerang are wanting to do a project to celebrate 100 years of Rotary in Australia next year, so we are looking for ideas on what we could do, mainly what Kerang people would like. Please feel free to comment below and help us to serve our community. We are hoping to discuss this at our next Rotary meeting online Thursday 1st October.
