11.01.2022 It is letters like these that make the effort we put in worth it. It’s hard work raising money all year, but our dedicated members donate their time to constant...ly run bbqs, the Soggy Bottom Cardboard Box Boat Race and the Agfest food van to name a few, but when these funds are used to improve the lives of others in our community, it is effort that was worth doing. So glad we made a difference this Christmas .... please read on ..... On behalf of all the residents of Regis Norwood, I would like to express my sincere gratitude in your recent gift donations for our residents . They were wonderful gift boxes for both the ladies and men presented beautifully . It was such a pleasure to give to others on behalf of the Rotary Club of Youngtown, to the nominated residents and it really did make a difference in their lives especially at this time of Christmas. One of our male residents asked me to thankyou personally, and despite his inability to see anymore, he was truly grateful and appreciative, and it made him feel special on receiving the gift. He went on to tell me how he was a past president of the Rotary club of Kings Meadows, MR Scotty Wilson, and he commented on what a wonderful job to those involved in what was placed in the gift boxes. On the residents behalf we thank all involved at the Rotary Club of Youngtown in the donations, preparations and organising of the gifts to give to others. What wonderful work you do!
