05.05.2022 James from Malvern had his front yard/lawn (mostly weeds) rotary hoed so he can reconfigure the levels and get the yard ready for some garden beds and new turf. The ground was compacted clay and needed a couple of passes to break it all up into a workable soil. Overall very good result.

24.04.2022 Adrian from Yatala Vale had around 300sqm of his property rotary hoed in preparation for some new turf and garden beds. The ground was hard, dry and compacted which made for a very dusty job. In any case the work was done to a satisfactory standard but it is worth noting that jobs like these are much easier and produce optimal results when there is some moisture in the ground before rotary hoeing.

11.04.2022 Michael from Blackwood had his backyard rotary hoed in preparation for some new turf. Very good-highly nutritious soil which will not need much work to get it ready for the new turf.

01.04.2022 Tim and Jess had the front of their property at Aldgate rotary hoed in preparation for some new turf. The ground was super hard and took several passes to break it all up into a workable soil. It certainly gave me a good workout rotary hoeing up and down that long steep incline, no need to go to the gym this week that’s for sure.

15.03.2022 Craig from Para Hills had his backyard rotary hoed in preparation for some new turf. The ground was clay based so he added some gypsum before hoeing. It is now ready for some sandy loam before rolling out his new turf. Great work Craig, it will come up a treat.

04.03.2022 Matt had the back yard of his new home in Athelstone rotary hoed in preparation for some new turf. The house block was cut into the side of a mountain so the ground was super hard clay and needed a couple of passes to break it all up into a workable-light and fluffy soil. The soil now has good drainage and is ready for the sandy loam. Before hoeing Matt added some sulfur due to the acidity as well as some gypsum for the clay, good work Matt will come up a treat.

16.02.2022 Dan from Largs Bay had his back yard rotary hoed in preparation for some new turf. Good quality soil came up very nice after a single pass. Will not need any sandy loam or gypsum, a quick screed and is ready for the new turf.

01.02.2022 Calum from Two Wells had a section of his front and backyard rotary hoed in preparation for some veggie gardens and new turf. The ground out that way is really hard-compacted clay and needed a couple of passes to break it all up. Overall very good results, see next video of preparing for his front veggie patch.

08.01.2022 Today Nick from Goodwood had 250sqm of his back yard rotary hoed in preparation for some new turf. The ground was compacted clay with a minefield of rocks, bricks, reo rod (rebar) and other residue building materials from when the house was built in the 60s. Nick followed from behind the hoe and collected many bucket loads of these materials to finally get a clean finish ready for the sandy loam before rolling out his new turf. Great work Nick, will come up a treat.

20.12.2021 Anthony and Emily from Lewiston had 200sqm of their farm rotary hoed in preparation for a massive organic vegetable garden. The ground out there is so dry and hard and is cracking due to the lack of moisture. It took a couple of passes to break it all up into a workable soil and will need some gypsum to keep it from re-compacting over time, overall a very good result.

18.12.2021 Terry and Susan from Aberfoyle Park had their back yard rotary hoed in preparation for some new turf and garden beds. Susan is an organic gardener and did not want to use any poison on the weeds so I micro-pulverized them into fine particles within the soil (power composting). Terry will overlay the area with several tonnes of sandy loam before rolling out the new turf, so all the weed particles and thatch will decompose within the underlying soil bed, (this process is also known as power composting which is a unique capability of the BCS 2 wheeled tractor)

06.12.2021 Corey from Clearview had his back yard rotary hoed in preparation for new turf; the ground was clay based and had buffalo grass which he wanted all broken up. Corey will be adding 6 tonne of top soil before rolling out the new turf, all the residue organic material will decompose within the underlying soil bed. (See the next video for the final result).
