25.01.2022 Every student has an equal right to have quality education. But still, 50% of girls students in Nepal are unable to attend school during their menarche due to d...ifferent circumstances like lack of MHM materials, different social stigmas, enduring pains, poor WASH facilities, etc. So, it is necessary to work together to make school menstrual hygiene friendly and encourage girls to attend their school reducing girl's student absenteeism rate. Our effort to support basic education and literacy led us to Shree Jhamkeshwori Secondary School, Okharbazar, Thaha Municipality, Makwanpur where the reusable eco-friendly sanitary pad kit set has been provided to 100 girls students from class 6-10. This kit will help all the girls students of Shree Jhamkeshwori school to manage their menstruation with dignity and continue their education for the next two years. Thank you Rotary Club of Liverpool West, Australia and Rotary Club of Kathmandu for your generous support for better education. Together we can end Period Poverty. #WASHinSchool #RotaryGoalforBasicEducation #RotaryNepalLiteracyMission #BasicEducationandLiteracy See more

08.01.2022 AHHA School Building Project 2020 Continuing our charity work both in Australia and abroad. AHHA is fundraising to build a new primary school to educate poor & ...displaced children for a brighter future, in the remote Chhnok Tru village of Kampong Chhnang, Cambodia. The current old and dilapidated school building was relocated from the Tonle Sap lake (Bien Ho) onto land, (it was basically dragged out of the water & placed on dry land supported by wooden poles). This area of the land is often affected by flood water and this caused further damage the old school building. In conjunction with the Rotary Liverpool West, AHHA Management Committee has decided to provide financial support for this building project. The new school building will be situated on higher grounds to avoid flooding. The project is scheduled to be completed in 2021. To donate, please visit ahha.org.au or further enquires : [email protected] We wish you good health, stay well & stay safe. Thank you for your support. 08.01.2022 Annual Pride of Workmanship Night 27 October 2020 We had a good crowd of around 60 people in attendance for this annual event. President Charles Hili welcomed the Nominees, their families and friends as well as ADG Renga Rajan, President of Liverpool Rotary Club Barry Hancock with Members Keith Bainbridge and Ron Watkins. We had an apology from Peter Beadle.... Secretary Ted Mlynarz was MC on the Night and in conjunction with Vocational Service Director Russell Soedjadi introduced each of the Nominees present detailing the reasons they were receiving this award and presenting them with an engraved plaque. Because of work and other commitments, four of the nominees were unable to attend on the night and arrangements have been made to see they receive their award. This night was a joint function with the Rotary Club of Liverpool who had provided two of the nominees. We thank them for their participation and support in making the night a success. We appreciate the assistance provided to us by the Mounties Community Club in providing a venue that met all the Covid Safe requirements and to the caterers for an excellent meal.
