14.01.2022 With time ticking down to 28 April we've been checking out a couple of the peaks. It might be a bit of a grind to the top, but it's a buzz coming down, register now www.rotaryrides.org.au

14.01.2022 A number of people have asked for advice on training for hill climbing, so we have included _some tips on training for hill climbing on the website at www.rotaryrides.org.au/ > Useful stuff > Hill climbing training tips._

10.01.2022 Mt Pleasant, 3rd Peak in the 5 Peaks Challenge, true to name, the shortest easiest peak, only 80m to climb over 1.6km averaging 3%. That saves a bit of energy for the big 2 ahead with a combined 450m climbing. 7 weeks to go. Enter now www.rotaryrides.org.au

10.01.2022 It might be called the 5 Peaks but the Arboretum adds a 6th - just 100m climb over 1.7km at 5% for fab views over the lake to Mt Ainslie (Peak 4) Only 2 weeks until the big day so register now: http://www.rotaryrides.org.au

05.01.2022 Thank you to all of our wonderful participants this year. We have been able to donate fund to Australian Rotary Health, Shelterbox and L'Arche Canberra. Well done everyone

04.01.2022 Riders were out tuning up on Red Hill, 2nd peak of the 5 Peaks Challenge. Not a long climb, 100m over 1.7km, but an average 8.5% makes it a good work out. You could stop for coffee to admire the view, but you won't have much room after Rotary's legendary morning tea stop at the Mint, just a few kms before Red Hill. Register now www.rotaryrides.org.au
