25.01.2022 Today we held a Xmas get together at the Tim Neville Arboretum in Boronia. Unfortunately quite a few members couldn’t make it, but it was still a great day relaxing in the shade with friends many of whom hadn’t seen one another face to face since Covid lockdown began. Great Day of laughter and catching up.

20.01.2022 Today the club held it’s changeover lunch at Chateau Wyuna. Although a somewhat scaled back event we finally had a face to face opportunity to meet and thank President Bernadette for her remarkable year as President. We were honored to have incoming District Governor Daryl Moran and his wife Jenny, assistant District Governor Mike Fink, and local member of Parliament Jackson Taylor and his partner present. President Bernie had the pleasure of giving Lucille Sly a PHF for her... services to the club of many years and another one to Greg Mossop for his service and hard work for the club. We then had the pleasure of having President Bernie pass on the role of President to Peter Dalwood. Peter then gave us a overview of his aims and goals for the club. Finally the club presented Bernie with a volume of bound bulletins from her year. Congratulations Bernie on a great year. Congratulations Peter on your appointment as President you have the full support of the members who wish you a great year. See more

09.01.2022 Some famous people who were also proud Rotarians

08.01.2022 President Bernadette last night announced to the meeting that the Rotary Club of Boronia has been recognized as a Bronze Major Donor to the Rotary Foundation. Bernadette also announced the results of our first Bunnings BBQ for quite a while due to Covid. Congratulations to all who worked on Sunday what a great result raising much needed funds for the community. Last nights meeting was a committee meeting with members of the clubs various committee’s going into their respective break out groups to discuss the current projects and discuss planning for proposed future ones.

06.01.2022 The Rotary Club of Boronia is actively looking for people who want to help make their community and the international community a better place for the less fortunate and underprivileged. If you are that person we would love to meet you. Maybe you have a project we can help you with.

05.01.2022 Last night we heard from Past President Steven Spiers when he gave us a Rotarian behind the badge presentation. Steve is a second generation Boronia member with his father being a member in the seventies. President of the club in 2006-7 Steve has had a very active role in the club holding most board positions. He is probably best known at district level for his work on the district 9810 ride for research where he proudly marks the route for the ride each year. He is famous for turning what would be a short drive as the crow flies into a several hundred kilometer bike ride through scenic Victoria. Keep up the good work Sven.

02.01.2022 Happy New Year from the members of the Rotary Club of Boronia to everyone. We hope you have a Happy, Safe, and Healthy New Year.
