17.01.2022 Yesterday the Rotary Club of Brighton in partnership with Young Change Agents hosted the Bayside Academy of Enterprising Girls school holiday program. With over 50 girls from Year 7-12 from Brighton Secondary College, Firbank Grammar, Star of the Sea and St Leonard’s College joining us for this innovative entrepreneurship program, co-funded by the Australian Government, the future looks very bright! Designed to cultivate young women’s skills in design thinking, and entrepreneurial skills these girls came up with some amazingly inspiring initiatives to bring about positive change with issues such as environment and sustainability, mental health and resilience during these testing times. Thanks to all who joined in for an absolutely inspiring day (including the wonderful facilitators, educators and Rotarians)!
