21.01.2022 "To encourage people to speak about their mental health concerns - depression, anxiety and many other disorders - we've tried to make mental health a normal hea...lth issue, like cancer, diabetes and heart disease, and much work is being done to encourage people to seek help for these very normal health issues. However, while doing this, it may have also taken suicide along for the ride and made suicide "normal". Suicide is not the option! Suicide will never be the option. There are other good options available. Seek treatment, seek help, and with the love and care of your friends and family you can get through this. Suicide is not normal - nor is it the answer." - Joy Gillett OAM, Australian Rotary Health CEO If you are struggling, contact Lifeline on 13 11 14. Remember, there is always someone there to listen.

In 2014, with our clubs fundraising efforts, I had the honour to represent the Rotary Club of Carnarvon to build houses with for the poor in Cambodia with the Tabitha Foundation & Rotarians from other clubs in Perth.
