21.01.2022 There were only 67 players but the spirit was high to make this a successful charity day for the victims of fires and droughts. Sponsors such as Commonwealth Bank, Voith, Tassell Automotive, First National RE Homeway, Newline Carpets, Crest, Findex and Matchmaster TV, of which some have been on the journey from the beginning. The players were generous and the Silent Auction raised $4700 with the final result after all expenses, was $19,372.

06.01.2022 The numbers dropped by 33 from a 100 so we now had 67 players. The The golf day orgainsed by Billspirit of the 67 and with the Rotarian helpers, received many encouraging complimentary comments as to the success of the charity day. The dedicated sponsors such as Commonwealth Bank, Voith, Tassell Automotive, First National RE Homeway, Newline Carpets, Crest, Findex and Matchmaster TV, of which some have been on the journey from the beginning, indicated they will be back next y...ear. The players were generous in the buying of raffle tickets and the silent auction. All but two Items were sold amassing a record $4700. With a preponderance of alcohol on display it may something about the tastes of golfers. Many Rotraians participated in the silent auction too, giving us the final result after all expenses to $19,372. Glenhaven Rotary appreciates the great efforts of Bill Smith and the support given by Val, Rhonda, Joyce, Vino and Brian. Needless to say they had plenty to do and did so admirably. Past President Stephen Nicholson and Bill made up the presentation team for the day. See more
