They can be dropped off at the Senior Citizens Centre, Angelo Street South Perth.

19.01.2022 Rotary assists many worthwhile causes both locally and Internationally, not only monetarily but also in kind, with resources and through volunteers. Projects like the Sewing projects help build skills as well as supply much needed products. The Eye Clinics furnish spectacles and treat myopia so people can go to work and not be disadvantaged by vision problems. All of these and many more help develop the communities and economies #RotaryRocks

18.01.2022 https://www.facebook.com/RMHCWA This is a great cause to help the many sick kids and their families who rely on Ronald McDonald House for the rural families and the accommodation in the Perth Children Hospital for families of children in intensive care. For every dollar donated TODAY up to 9pm, various businesses and sponsors will match your donation to double the money raised. Please donate today if you can. #Rotrydoesitbetter #RotaryRocks #KickSickness

18.01.2022 Well you think you know someone and then...Jim Walker gave his 'Who Am I' this week and unleashed a treasure trove of information! Not only is he a very successful businessman, he can dance (professionally), collects vintage cars, has a twin sister, played the drums and was a drum major in the school band - AND to top it all can still twirl those batons! Way to go Jim! Wish I had a picture of that demonstration!

Long story short: Our population will reach 38.8 million by 2061, down from 2015’s forecast of 40 million people by 2055. It’s the first time there’s been a downturn in our predicted population. That comes down to a mix of fewer expected m...igrants and declining birth rates. That means it could take 40 years to get the Federal Budget back into surplus. That comes down to a mix of fewer productive people than expected and an ageing population that relies on government spending on health, aged care and welfare. But those born in 2060 will have ages to fix things Men born in 2060-61 are expected to live to 86.8yo, compared to 81.4yo years for people born in 2020-21. And women born in 2060-61 are expected to live to 89.3yo, compared to 85.4yo for those born now. Treasurer Josh Frydenberg said the report provided "early warning signs" for what was to come.
