Susie will be speaking about schools in Cambodia, topical as we are in a partnership with RC Glen Waverley and RC Wheelers Hill for a grant to supply bicycles from Japan to a school in Cambodia. 16.01.2022 Last week we heard from Susie Lachal, who has been volunteering for 15 years with TABA in the capacity of workshop presenter, program coordinator, board member, and executive director. Susie is well qualified for this work. Before having children Susie taught PE, science, and geography. Her roles included Director of Sport at Ruyton Girls’ School.

13.01.2022 Hi Members & Guests, Our guest speaker this week is Jason Ball, whose presentation is titled: "Free To Be Me: Why LGBTIQ Inclusion Matters." Jason provided a short bio to Program Chair Bob:... Jason Ball is a pioneering LGBTIQ and mental health advocate, who in 2012 came out as gay and spearheaded a campaign to tackle homophobia in the AFL. Jason is the Co-founder of Pride Cup Australia, an organisation that works with all levels of sport to create pride activations and deliver education to increase LGBTIQ visibility and engagement. In 2017 Jason was named Young Australian of the Year for Victoria, and in 2016 and 2019 he stood as a Federal candidate for the Australian Greens. He has been a member of the Rotary Club of Prahran since 2015. We can certainly recommend attendance at this week's meeting. So, join President Zeki on Wednesday evening for the meeting. 05.01.2022 A Bhoomi Puja is a Hindu ritual ceremony performed before the commencement of construction of a project. RC Monash is involved in a joint project with three other clubs (host club, Madras Besant Nagar; Scarborough, WA; Scarborough Cavaliers, UK) to install water tanks at the Uluru Children’s Home in Tamil Nadu, southern India. This comprises stage two of the rainwater capture and storage facilities at the orphanage (Stage one was completed in 2009 - RC Monash and RC Madras Besant Nagar).

The Centurion Club is an Australian Rotary Foundation personal giving initiative, where Rotarians contribute A$100+ per year to The Rotary Foundation in order to assist the funding of local & International projects by Rotary Clubs to do ‘Good in the World’. As part of the R100 Theme where Aust & NZ Rotary Clubs will celebrate 100 yrs of service in 2021, ... your District has been challenged to lift Centurion Club Membership to 50% of District Membership.
