22.01.2022 Happy World Rotary Day!!! Today, the 23rd of February is not only the day we celebrate the 116th Anniversary of the foundation of the very first Rotary club, ...the Rotary club of Chicago. But it's also world #RotaryDay, a day where we can be proud and celebrate the achievements and successes of all the Rotarians and the extended Rotary family around the world who do great things in their community. Be sure to spread the word about why you're in Rotary and why today is a very special day for our great organization. You can do this by wearing your branded Rotary club shirt or other Rotary branded apparel out in public today and start a conversation. #worldrotaryday #rotaryinternational #rotaryclub #peopleofaction #WeareRotary
21.01.2022 This week Monday 23rd our club is hosting a very inspiring and enthusiastic young lady talking about home schooling. Anneliesa Soliman is a 15 year old who has been in both the public school system and now has been homeschooled for the last 5 years. She is talking about the benefits for herself and how she manages her time. Anneliesa has her own YouTube channel and has nearly 2000 subscribers. 15.01.2022 Membership of Rotary.... The strength of a club lies in the members of that club. Temora Rotary is made up of a group of diverse men and women who bring their finest to Rotary to serve their community. There’s room for you Introducing two of those members- Jack and Lyn Jefferis When Jack and Lyn arrived in Temora 2 years ago, they were keen to get involved with the community. They joined Rotary and have been the driving force behind fundraising for local projects. Many ho...urs of work have been put into sourcing prizes (locally purchased) and organising and manning the raffle ticket sales...a real challenge with COVID this year. They are also enthusiastic helpers at the Moo Poo sale days and are currently working on the ‘End Trachoma’ project putting together bags of health products for children in remote Australian schools. Lyn and Jack always have time and passion for community projects and they are always there when the rubber hits the road... Thanks for all you do for our community See more

Pictured is our Rotary President Marg Fritsch presenting Caleb (representing Temora Christian Leaders) with a cheque for $500 in lieu of the collection and donation that would have normally taken place at ‘Carols in the Park’.
