24.01.2022 The tiny school at Dalousu, on the island of Malaita Province part of the SolomonIslands.is, will soon receive boxes and boxes of stationery items received from children, parents and teachers at Unley Primary School - Community and Fundraising. Following a presentation by Rotarian Fay Reid to the Student Representative Council about Dalousu village and the poor conditions of the school, students asked for donations of items such as textas, pens, pencils and exercise books etc. What was donated is genuinely incredible, and the Dalousu children will be overwhelmed. Besides, Unley Primary conducted a casual clothes day on Friday 25th September to raise money for other much-needed school resources and what an outstanding result. Watch this space.
